Vitani pov
*Time skip 5 minutes*
Rafiki walks in and says, "Kion, Vitani needs rest, so you should leave." Kion nods and leaves, and Rafiki says,"Get some rest. You've had a long day." I nod and lay back down on the rock, but I can't stay asleep. Every time I fall asleep, I have the same nightmare about the last day.
*Unskip to last night*
Me and Kion were meeting to talk.
*Time skip 30 minutes*
I get tired and say, "I should go before I get caught here." He looks sad but says "Yeah I guess I'll see you."
*Time skip next morning*
I'm woken up by Kovu nudging me in my side, so I swipe at him, but he says, "Mom wants to talk to you." I say."Give me a second." I stand up and stretch before heading to the cave where my mother is. When I get there, she's already angry and Nuka's next to her. When I walk closer, she says, "Where were you last night?" I say."Here sleeping." She says "Well that's not what Nuka and many others say." I don't know what you're talking about I went for a walk before I went to sleep but that's it." I'm calm like usual. She says "Then what were you doing with the prince?" I say "Which prince they all line up for me." I smile but my mother doesn't find it amusing and yells "Kion you were seen sitting with Kion in the pridelands last night." I say "Oh Kion, yeah I haven't seen him in Hmm 2 months I think the last time we fought them." Nuka says "Sure." I growl at him and he shuts up. Mother says getting angry "There's no point in lying." I inhale deeply and say "I may have seen Kion on my walk I didn't go into the pridelands with him we talked." My mother is getting aggravated and says "Then how did half the pride see you with him." I get nervous and look down to the ground and Mother says " Banished." I look at her and say, "What." She says loudly."BANISHED GET HER OUT!!!"
Then, a group of lion(ess)s attack me and chase me into the pridelands. After a few minutes of running they are running right behind me so I yell "Help someone help me!!!"
I keep running into the pridelands before yelling again but this im caught and pinned. One of the lions says "You think you could escape to here now we can do whatever we want." He has a wicked grin and I start kicking and scratching and screaming but before he can do anything Kion shows up, but I pass out before anything happens due to blood loss. I'm in and out of consciousness for the next little bit, but when I wake up the first time, someone is dragging me, but I'm too weak to do anything. When I come too next, I see two cheetahs and Kion. I weakly say, "Kion." He says something to a cheetah, and I pass out again. Then I wake up being carried by someone I m looking into fur, but I turn my head and see my legs bandaged.
I pass out again, and when we get to a hut, I wake up and stay up. I see kion and 2 male cheetahs both king, but that's the only similarity I notice. The cheetahs leave, and Kion says, "Hey Tani." I say,"Hey Kion, what happened when you found me? "" He says."I fought off that lion, and then the Daltons helped patch your wounds and carry you." I say,"The Daltons?" He says:
"Yeah, there's 2 now." I say."Good to know." Kion looks worried but asks."What happened."
I explain what happened, and he says, "Because we were meeting, I'm sorry, Tani." She says,"At least now I know who I can trust." He smiles, and we talk for a little bit until the cheetahs walk back. I'm and say "Kion we need to talk in private.
When Kion walks back in, he sits, and we talk for a second before he says "Vitani you're the best lion I know, and I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date." I smile and kiss him on the cheek. Then I hear, "Good to see you guys are getting along." I blush and say,"I didn't see you there."
