a new mission

Dalton(B) pov
After the battle, a lion Noone knows walks up priderock and roars.
Simba is not happy about this but the lion speaks saying "I am a messenger from Shadow company, stay out of our way or we will kill you if you attempt to stop us on our way to the Tree of Life you have 2 days to inform everyone." I look at the rest of the guard and smile, knowing it doesn't matter what he says. I say, "I guess we have a week to be ready." Kion says,"Less we have to get there a few days before." I say."Oh yeah, so how long." He tomorrow I already talked with my dad." Fuli says "tomorow that's a little early." I say."Not when you got the devil on your heels." Then Hannah, who just got here, says,"I want to go." I look at her like she's crazy and say,"You're joking you've been a cheetah for 3 days, and you want to go fight Shadow company." She says "Yeah you can teach me to hunt and fight, and it'll make the trip easier, and I can fight someone in Shadow company. " I look at kion, who shrugs then at Hannah and say, "I'll talk to Mom, but you aren't fighting anybody. You're still a cub." She says,"You are too." I say,"I can fight though you can't, and if you get hurt or die, I'll never forgive myself." She says "Aww you do care about me." I push her a little and walk away.
*Time skip 10 minutes*
I finally find Mom in a field talking with someone, and when I walk up, she says, "Hey Dalton, what's up?" She was talking to Tiffu's mother, but she had to leave. I say "Uhm so you know Shadow Company right, well there coming in a week and me and the guard are going in tomorrow to warn and help the Tree of Life but Hannah wants to go so I can teach her to fight and hunt and stuff." Mom looks worried and says,"What about when you start fighting?" I say "I'll keep her away from it, I swear, if she gets hurt, it's my fault, and I would never forgive myself." She says,"If you promise to keep her safe and not leave her side," I say."I swear on my life." She smiles and says "Ok she can go but as soon as the fighting starts, she gets to safety." I smile and say."That's the plan." Mom says,"Good, I want her to learn stuff from you, so take care of her." I say "Yes ma'am." Before leaving to tell Hannah.
*Time skip 2 days*
The night we leave, we all meet, and I have a little speech ready. I say, "The 9 of us are the only thing between balance and destruction. We have to stop Shadow. We will have the Devil on our heels, but we will keep him on his toes, there will be a trail of hell following us but we need to fight through." Everyone claps, and we set off.
*Time skip 30 minutes*
We already have a problem. Makini, our guide, has us going through a desert, but there's a bad sandstorm, and we can't see, so Kion says, "Find shelter, we'll have to wait out the storm." Fuli says."Already on it." We quickly find a cave and run in, I say with my best Anakin Skywalker impression."I hate sand." Hannah chuckles. And I say, "We should rest while the storms going on and travel at night when it's cooler." Everyone agrees and lays down to sleep.
*Time skip 1 hour*
I can't sleep it's too noisy from the storm, so I'm just sitting at the entrance watching it go by, it's soothing and I eventually fall asleep.
*In dream*
I'm in an unfamiliar place with a large tree in the middle and it's on fire and everything is in ruins. I look to my left and see carnage and death everywhere then I see someone over a cheetah I soon realize it's fuli. I see him kill her and say "I told you to stay out of it."
That's when I wake up in a cold sweat.
It takes me a minute to realize where I am and I just curl up and cry for a minute realizing what might happen if this doesn't work. What I didn't notice was Makini awake, she walks over to me and pats me on my back before saying "You were dreaming about the possibilities weren't you." I just nod and she says "I know one thing Dalton, it's that this will work we won't let it go bad." I say "You suck at motivational speeches*Laughs*." she says "But I'm good at making you laugh." I laugh and say "I guess.," She smiles and says "It's about sunrise so you might want to stay up we're leaving soon." I say "I'm gonna get some food for me and the other cats if you want you can get food for the others."
After a few minutes, I find a gazelle big enough for us but as I'm getting ready to pounce I hear a roar, and the gazelle runs away I say "Dangit come on kion I'm getting us breakfast." But it's not kion it's a lion with sand colored fur and a brown mane. He says "I don't know who Kion is but I do know you're hunting in my pride's territory and I can't have that. I say "Come on I'm with the lion guard I was hunting 1 gazelle for 4 of us." He says "If we hunt in the pridelands I'm sure you wouldn't let us stay." I say "I know but we have important information for the Tree of Life and we can't get there without food." He sighs and says "Follow me." I say "I ain't following you." He says "You will if you want food." I give in and follow him, keeping a few feet between us to be safe. He brings me to an oasis full of animals, and he says, "1 animal for you." I say."Thank you." I get a large gazelle, and then he asks."Is that info something we should know?" I drop the gazelle from my mouth and say "There's a group called Shadow Company led by Phil Graves stay out of their way let them get to the Tree of Life and we'll stop them there." He says "No we can help." I say then pick a few off. Don't do too much cause they will kill anyone in their way." He nods and I return to the cave. When I get there everyone's looking for me including Makini so I walk up and say "I live." Everyone laughs and we eat. After we finish we continue the walk.
After a while, we end up in plains with plenty of animals and water.
I say "Where are we?" Then a girl says "You're in the great plains." I turn. To face her I see a cheetah I've never seen before and say "Who are you." She says "The name is Sam and I assume you're from the pridelands." Kion buts "Yes but we're looking for the Tree of Life." She says "That's a far walk what are you doing." He says "We have information to help them." She says "Ok that's good but if you need anything let me know I can help." Kion says "Ok thanks."
We walk away and I say "She seems nice." Kion says "Yeah." We walk for an hour or so before taking a break for water. We continue this all day until we find a mountain at the end of the day.
Fuli says "That'll be a long cold walk we should wait till tomorrow." Everyone agrees and we sleep.

Hey guys jedi here hope you enjoyed this chapter and this will kind of follow the plot of season 3 loosely so expect more characters. But anyways have a good day/night may the force be with you jedi out!!!
