In a new world

Dalton(b) pov
The next day, we start the walk up the mountain, and I know it's gonna suck it's not snowy at the bottom, but after about 1/2 hour in, we run into snow.
When we find it, everyone but me, Makini, and Hannah stop. Everyone looks confused at the snow, and I say, "Come on, it's just snow." Kion looks at me like I'm crazy and says, "What's that." I say."You've never seen snow it's just water, but in a frozen powder." He takes a small step into it and says "Wow it's cold." I laugh and say "Yeah it's frozen. " He smiles, and everyone walks in. It takes a minute for everyone to get used to it, but we continue walking, but after another hour, I see footprints coming from nowhere, and I say, "Stop someone's following us." Everyone stops and gets ready for a fight, but nothing happens, and when we loosen up, I hear a crunch and see more footprints, but they stop and I see a snow leopard ready to pounce I yell wait but Dalton gets tackled and wrestles with him for a minute until he pins them and goes wide-eyed before saying "Chulunn!?" She smiles up and says,"Dalton!?" They hug for a minute, and I say,"What's going on?" Dalton chuckles and says,"Chuluun helped me escape the Cheetah kingdom when I was a cub." I say,"But we're gonna ignore her trying to kill you." She says "Well you're in my territory, and cats don't usually like me." I say."I can't imagine why." She growls at my comment and says "Well you don't seem that friendly yourself cheetah." She said cheetah in a disgusted tone that just makes me mad, so I say,"Shut it." She says,"Or what?" Before I can respond, Dalton-Sorrysays "Woah calm down, guys." I say "Fine but this isn't over." She chuckles and starts to walk away, but Dalton says "Wait Chuluun you want to come with us for a bit." She says,"I would, but I don't feel welcome." Dalton says, "Sorry bout that, but please, I just want to see you again." She says,"Fine." And smiles everyone seems a little happy so I fake a smile and say "Well I guess sorry about that I just have trust issues but you did try and kill him." She says "Yeah I'm sorry for trying to kill him." Kion says."Now we're all friends. Let's get going." We start walking, and Chuluun is friendly, which I didn't expect, but once we talk, I find she's not as bad as she seems.
After about 3 hours we reach the top and take a break. We all sit down exhausted from the long journey, and Kion says, "We should sleep now and finish tonight." But Chuluun says,"It'll be freezing at night. You guys need to finish the trip before then your fur is light." I nod, and kion says "Ok then 15 minutes don't get comfortable."
I walk to the very top a few feet away and look out across the land it's beautiful it's like a lock screen I just admire it for a minute till Chuluun interrupts saying "Beautiful isn't it? " She scared me, so I jumped and said,"Oh yeah, we don't have anything like this in the pridelands." She says,"You don't have anything in the pridelands." I playfully say "No we have company." She laughs and punches me in the shoulder before saying,"Maybe I'll visit." I say."You're welcome to." She smiles and says,"Thanks, you know I didn't think we'd get along." I say,"Me neither, but you're cool." She smiles and opens her mouth, but Kion yells,"Times up, let's go." She says,"Coming before heading towards him. I get up and follow her.
After another 3 hours, we get close enough to the ground for the snow to stop, and Chuluun says, "I can't go any farther it's not my territory, but I hope to see you again." I say "Yeah we'll see you." Everyone says their goodbyes, and we continue down. After 1/2 hour, we arrive at the bottom in a swamp. I sigh and say, "It had to be a swamp. It couldn't be like plains or something easy. Kion laughs and says, "It ain't everq easy."

Hey, guys Jedi here I hope you enjoy this part of the story because I've wanted to do it for a while, but I remember listening to a song and kinda wanting to make a chapter off it but it formed this so anyways have a good day/night Jedi out!!!
