After the fight, we have to retreat also due to our injuries. We run to the outlands out home. If you're wondering my name's Bazili I'm a black hyena with dark purple spots and I'm the leader of the "commy clan" because we tried to overthrow janja but failed. We're like janja we hate the pridelands and hunt there. We also hate Janjas ideals he's terrible when it comes to leading a nation he can't 6 his people that's why we revolted. My followers are limited in numbers but strong in might and mental capability.
My main group is 5 of my closest friends and comrades. Once we return the healer cleans our wounds and we go rest in our lair. I sit next to my friend opu a male hyena who I've known my whole life there's also my brother Matt who looks similar to janja but with purple spots like me, my best friend Callie an all-black hyena with spots of white, Lou a grey hyena with black spots who was a major role in the revolution. And Tuv a girl hyena who is like a sister to me.
I also have a younger sister Paq who is still a cub. She hangs out with us when we're not out hunting/fighting. My mother was killed in the revolution and I don't know my father so me and Paq are all on our own. We were fighting that lion to keep him out of our territory not to mess with the lion guard. I don't like it in the outlands but we have nowhere else because of Simba. We don't hate the pridelands but can't live there because to the lions were all just hyenas and if we enter we are attacked.
Dalton pov
*two hours later*
I'm talking to Byron and I ask "Do you know those Hyenas I just don't think they'd just attack you in the pridelands they've never had problems with us.
He says"I know the leader's name is Bazili and they didn't attack me in the pridelands I woke up in their territory and I walked for a minute before they chased me out to where you found me." I laugh and say "Sorry I just imagine you running on 4 legs for the first time." He laughs too and says "Yeah I struggled." I say "Bazili I've never heard of her I gotta ask thr others though, I've only been here a few weeks now probably." Byron looks at me and says "It's been 2 months." I'm shocked I can't tell time and lost track of the day count but 2 months is crazy. I say "2 months jeez I lost track so quick I just thought it had been maybe a month," He says "Yeah I bet." I stand up and say "I gotta go kion asked us to do an extra patrol today."
Hey guys Jedi here just a quick note, most of the hyenas look the same in my mind at least, so imagine janja/Jasiri but colored differently depending on the description. Also, this chapter is kind of a first for me because I don't usually write with characters outside of the main ones.
