Demetrius' POV

I shouldn't have had so much alcohol last night. I'm having an awful headache.

Fuck, I need a coffee.

Together with a black coffee, I placed an order for breakfast for myself. I quickly showered before getting dressed. I've been attending meetings nonstop since the day I arrived in New York.

To meet the survivors of the plane catastrophe, I had to visit the hospital as well. I'm a hospital stakeholder, after all.

I dialed Rodriguez, my driver to come.

As I got into the car, he said, "Good morning Mr. Petropoulos"

"Good morning Rodriguez, take me to the Sunrise Hospital", I nodded and gave him the location

As we arrived at the hospital, Rodriguez opened the car door. I spoke with the senior doctor; he was aware of my arrival today.

The doctor addressed me, "Hello Mr. Petropoulos"

I greeted the doctor and inquired about the survivors. Only 4 of the survivors were there when I met them. One was absent though.

I was going to ask the same question when my PA called. To take the call, I went to the garden.

I ran into someone after the call was over. No words came out of my lips after seeing the girl's face

"I'm sorry, I'm so-", I was stunned when I saw the face

Those similar blue eyes.

She resembled my mother in every way. She was very frail and tiny.

The nurse responded, "It's okay, Mr. Petropoulos, come let's go" and she grabbed the girl.

But I stopped them since I had some questions. They both turned around, and I continued to look at the young girl. And the girl ducked behind the nurse to escape my gaze.

I inquired about her, "Who is she"

The nurse said, "She is the last survivor of the plane crash"

"But why is she still being treated there? Aren't all the survivors are being discharged today. Even all four of them were present when I met them. Why she was not present there", I questioned in confusion

"Unfortunately, this girl lost her memories as a result of the plane disaster. She has no one as of now and she's still being treated here that's why she is still here", she has lost her memories?

I questioned, "Does she remember her name or anything"

"No, sir. She can't even remember her name", the nurse said

I looked back at the girl with my mother's face and said, "That's so unfortunate"

"I will take my leave then", I said and I walked away with lots of confusion in my mind.

I need to learn more about her.

But my mother and my princess died in a car crash. Is this woman truly my sister? Perhaps I may be overthinking. To learn everything about the young girl, I quickly phoned my private investigator.

After leaving the hospital, I went to a few meetings. But I wasn't paying attention throughout the meetings; all I was doing was waiting for my PI to call. After concluding all of my meetings in the evening, I returned to the hotel. I had barely started eating dinner when I received the call.

"Hello", I said

"I've compiled every bit of data I could discover about the girl, sir. Mirha White is her name and she turned 18 years old a couple of weeks ago. Her mother passed away from lung cancer, leaving her an orphan. She resides in an orphanage where she is mistreated by all of the residents. The plane tragedy prevented her from attending New York University on scholarship, and now she is battling amnesia", he said
