Asteria's POV

"Alek", I said, looking at him.

"Angel", he spoke as he approached me.

I wanted to smile at him but couldn't because of his solemn demeanor.

"What happened?", I queried.

"Nothing, Angel", he cracked a smile as he looked at the man I had just helped out. The guy appeared to be frightened.

What happened to him suddenly?

He really began to sweat after Alek spoke to him in Greek. He didn't spend any minute and immediately walked away.

What did he say to him?

I really need to learn this language.

He turned to face me after saying to Kiya, "You can also leave."

He grasped my hand and said, "Let's go"

He led me inside Thea's office. He sat on the sofa and yanked my hand to make me sit sideways on his lap.

"Al-Alek", I gasped as took notice of our position

"Yes Angel", he said and sniffed my neck

He kissed my neck and murmured, "I missed you, Angel"

Why is it that whenever he comes this close to me, I always feel something?

"Alek, I'm thinking something is wrong", I said

He cupped my cheeks and inquired, "What is it, Angel?"

I shifted in my position and remarked, "Something is wrong"

He said, "Tell me what it is"

"When you touch me, I experience a certain feeling. I felt it yesterday, and I feel it again", I told him

He worriedly questioned, "Wait, are you feeling uncomfortable with me baby?"

The word baby made me feel something in my heart.

"No, I feel something, but it's not bad. It's like a goody feeling. I feel like I have a lot of butterflies in my stomach", I explained.

"Oh, Angel, you're too naïve, but I get it now", he chuckled.

"Why are you laughing?", I questioned.

"It's all right, Angel. It's very normal to experience these emotions. Sometimes you will feel more than that at times. You don't feel uncomfortable with everything I'm doing to you, do you?", he inquired.

"No, I don't", I said.

"So that's OK. However, be vocal and let me know if there is anything that makes you uncomfortable. Everything we do together need your permission alone. I would never do something you wouldn't like", he said and I nodded my head.

He grinned, "So, you feel good when I kiss your neck, hmm", and I flushed.

I hid my face in his chest and said, "Stop it"

He embraced me by wrapping his hands around my waist.

"By the way, what did you tell that guy that made him flee? You know, you wrecked my chances of making a new friend", I pouted at him

"First off, why do you need a friend who is a male. Never put your faith in a man always remember that. However, you can have female friends", he said.

"But you are also a man", I questioned

"Should I trust you then?", he grinned at my question.

"Angel, you trust me because you are comfortably sitting in my arms; otherwise, you would be standing so far away from me, just like when you met me for the first time", he answered and I quickly nodded in response
