Asteria's POV
It's been four days since that night in my hotel room, and Alek has become much more naughty. He talks dirty to me whenever he gets the chance, leaving me blushing and somehow anticipating whether he will do all the things he whispers in my ears.
"Alek, stop it," I say, trying to sound stern but failing miserably.
"Stop what, Angel?" he asks, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about," I reply, trying to hide my smile.
Alek just chuckles and pulls me closer. "I'm just getting started," he whispers in my ear.
Thea thinks Alek is head over heels in love with me, but I'm not entirely convinced. How can someone fall deeply in love so quickly? I've known Alek for only a short time, and while I feel a strong connection, I'm not ready to label it love just yet.
Today marks our last day in Miami, and we're spending it lounging on a luxurious yacht. The sun is shining, and the ocean is calm, making it the perfect day to relax and unwind.
We'll be departing for Athens tomorrow morning, as Demi and Alek have completed their work. I'm excited to return home, but I'm also sad to leave this beautiful city behind.
The past few days have been a whirlwind of sun-kissed beach trips, extravagant shopping sprees, and photo shoots with Demi and Alek. It's been a much-needed break from reality, and I'm grateful to have shared it with my friends.
Her Outfit
"Hey, Asteria, what's going on?" Thea asks, plopping down beside me on the yacht.
"Not much, just enjoying the view," I reply, gazing out at the ocean.
"And by view, you mean Alek's abs?" Thea teases, raising an eyebrow.
I blush and playfully hit her arm. "Shut up, Thea."
But as I glance over at Alek, I have to admit that he does look pretty tempting. He's sleeping on the chair, his shades off, and his perfect upper body on display.
"I'm actually jealous of him," I say to Thea. "How can someone be so handsome?"
Thea laughs. "You're one to talk, Miss 'I-have-a-Greek-god-boyfriend'."
I smile and shake my head. "Hey, someone's got to keep him in line."
As I'm drinking my orange juice, I notice Riyah talking to my brother. She's standing very close to him, and even touching his arm. And my brother is smiling at her, which he rarely does with anyone except family and friends.
"Hey, Thea, look at that," I say, nodding towards Riyah and Demi.
Thea follows my gaze and raises an eyebrow. "Well, well, well. Looks like someone's got a crush."
I get up and follow Thea to the other side of the yacht. "Hey, what's going on?" I ask her.
"Just getting some fresh air," she replies, sipping her margarita.
But as we stand there, I can tell something's bothering her. "Thea, what's wrong?" I ask.
She sighs and looks down. "I've had feelings for Demi since I was 10," she admits, her voice barely above a whisper.
I'm taken aback. "What"
She shrugs. "Yeah"
I pull Thea into a hug.
"I'm here for you, no matter what. Do you think he does have any feelings for you"
Thea sighs and pulls back. "I don't know. He just never seems to notice me. And today, even you saw him flirting with Riyah."
I frown, feeling a surge of anger towards my brother. "That's not okay. I'll talk to him."
Thea shakes her head. "No, don't. I don't want to cause any trouble."
But I'm determined to get to the bottom of this. I will find Demi and confront him.
"I want more drink, I'll come back in a second", she said but stumbled on her feet
"No. That's enough alcohol for today, Thea. Let's go and get some rest please", I said balancing her and took her to her room
I laid her in her bed and covered her with duvet
"Why doesn't he love me, Ria. Why?", She questioned as tears spilled out of her eyes
"Shh, don't cry", I said wiping her tears and hugged her
"Am I that bad that your brother can't even seem to stand me", she said hugging me tightly
"It isn't like that Thea. Trust me, he does feel something for you but doesn't show it. But don't worry, he will soon. Stop crying", I soothed her and after sometime she slept peacefully
I came out of her room after making sure Thea was all covered up.
I find Demi and confront him, my arms crossed.
"What's happening between you and Riyah", I demanded
Demi sighs. "Princess, I'm not interested in Riyah. Trust me, I'll explain everything when we get back home."
I raise an eyebrow. "Explain what? You're clearly into her."
Demi shakes his head. "No, I'm not. I swear. Just drop it for now, okay? I promise I'll tell you everything when we're back in Athens."
I study his face, trying to read his expression. He seems sincere, but I'm still unsure.
"Fine," I say finally. "But you owe me an explanation, Demi."
Demi nods. "I know. And you'll get one. Just be patient, okay?"
I nod, feeling a bit better. Maybe I misread the situation. Maybe Demi is telling the truth.
Later, Alek finds me and pulls me into his arms. "Hey, Angel. What's wrong?"
I sigh and lean into him. "Just my brother being his usual self."
Alek kisses my forehead. "Don't worry, I'm here for you."
After finishing dinner, I was standing on the deck, wrapped in Alek's arms, I feel the world around me melt away. The stars twinkle above, the waves crash against the shore, and all that's left is the two of us, lost in this moment.
Alek's lips brush against mine, sending shivers down my spine. I feel his heart pounding against mine, his passion and desire for me evident in every touch.
I surrender to the kiss, my lips parting, my tongue tangling with his. The world around us fades away, leaving only the two of us, suspended in this moment of pure bliss.
I feel alive, my heart racing, my soul soaring. I know that this is where I'm meant to be - in Alek's arms, wrapped in his love.
As we break apart, gasping for air, I look up at Alek, my eyes locking onto his. I see the passion, the desire, the love shining back at me, and I know that I'm not alone.
