It's been a month since Y/n and Ariana broke up. Y/n was still looking for Amani even though she didn't get a new lead in two months. Ariana was doing better but she still barely ate. She was back in Los Angeles now too.
She was currently getting ready for her interview with Ellen.
"Ariana everyone was expecting a marriage, not a break up." Ellen said.
"You weren't the only ones." Ariana said.
"So you're saying Y/n was the one that broke up first?" Ellen asked but Ariana shook her head.
"No, it was a mutual decision. It was the best thing for us." She corrected Ellen.
"We're all awaiting your new album 'Dangerous Woman'. Is it about your breakup with Y/n?" Ellen asked.
"No, I started it months before we broke up. It's not a sad album." Ariana told her.
"That's good." Ellen smiled before talking about other stuff with Ariana.
After Ariana finished her interview, she drove home where her friends were already waiting for her.
"You look like shit. Let's go get drunk." Victoria said.
"Well thanks for the sweet compliment but I'm not in the mood to get drunk." Ariana said after hugging her friends.
"Come on. You need a distraction." Courtney said.
"Court you are 18. You can't even go to a club." Ariana said.
"That's why we're going to Justin's party." Courtney said.
"I don't know guys." Ariana sighed.
"Come on. We called Ricky too." Alexa said.
"Really Ricky? Do I need to remind you that I just broke up with Y/n and that I'm still very much in love with her?" Ariana asked.
"Well you did break up a month ago." Alexa said.
"So what? I've loved her since I've been 11. That's 12 years." Ariana told them.
"But you did date Jai and Sean too." Victoria mentioned.
"Yeah. For two months because they were a distraction. I don't even like Ricky like that." Ariana said.
"Oh come on, we all know there was something between you two when he was your dancer during the honeymoon tour." Alexa said.
"During the honeymoon tour? I was singing songs for Y/n Alexa." Ariana reminded her.
"While dating Sean." Alexa said.
"Exactly." Victoria smirked.
"Whatever, when are we going?" Ariana asked and walked to her bedroom.
"Great. Start getting ready, we're going at 8pm which is in 3 hours." Alexa said and Ariana nodded.
"I know you miss Y/n. But you should have a little fun. You don't have to do much with Ricky. I told the girls it was a bad idea to call him but they didn't listen to me." Courtney explained.
"It's okay Court. I appreciate it." Ariana smiled.
"I know how much you love Y/n. I mean I grew up while watching you two love each other. You two are the reason why I believe in love so I can only imagine how much this must hurt." Courtney said.
"You're so sweet. Remember when Y/n and I always took care of you even though you were only 5 years younger than me?" Ariana asked and Courtney nodded.
"Or that time when I was fighting with that one girl when I was 9 and her brother tried to beat Y/n up but Y/n beat his ass up instead. And she didn't even have one scratch." Courtney said and Ariana laughed.
