Chapter 16

The next morning Y/n woke up breathlessly.

"What's wrong?" Ariana asked worriedly.

"I remember!" Y/n called and jumped out of bed.

Ariana rubbed her eyes and sat up. Y/n looked completely different from yesterday. It was like life entered her body at once.

"What do you remember baby?" Ariana asked, getting out of bed as well.

"I remember his face! I know who kidnapped Leyla and Amani!" Y/n said and grabbed a paper and a pen and started drawing.

"Oh my gosh Y/n! That's amazing!" Ariana yelled.

After 40 minutes Y/n drew a detailed picture of the first suspect.

Y/n has always been good at drawing.

"Why do you remember now?" Ariana asked.

"Because of you Ariana! My inner child feels at peace with you. That's why I remembered now." Y/n told her and Ariana nearly started crying.

"I remember when I picked Leyla up one day, she was standing at a man's car. He was talking weirdly to her and now I remember the day she was kidnapped I saw him and his car in our street." Y/n said.

"This is amazing Y/n!" Ariana said happily.

Y/n got up and cupped Ariana's face in her hands.

"I could literally kiss you right now." Y/n whispered.

"Then do it." Ariana whispered back but Y/n shook her head.

"I wanna do it at our wedding." Y/n said and that's when Ariana broke down in tears.

"Hey no. Don't cry. We're so close." Y/n hugged Ariana.

"That's why. I'm so happy. After almost five years we're finally getting our happy end." Ariana cried into Y/n's chest.

"Stop crying my love. We have to go to the FBI building." Y/n said and grabbed Ariana's hand.

"We're in pajamas." Ariana reminded her.

"Oh shit." Y/n laughed before running into their room.

They quickly brushed their teeth and changed their clothes before driving to the FBI building.

Y/n just ran into Mr. Chadwicks office without knocking but to her luck no one was in there.

"Y/n? Is everything okay?" He asked concerned.

"I know what happened to Amani sir. I solved the case sir." Y/n told him breathlessly.

"Woah. Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes! That's the kidnapper of her and four other girls." Y/n showed him the drawing.

"Let's ask John to scan it." Mr. Chadwick said and Y/n was already sprinting to his office.

"Hi Ariana it's good to see you. Are you two back together?" He asked Ariana.

"No, not yet." Ariana smiled while they walked into John's office.

"The man exists sir. 15 years ago he looked exactly like Y/n drew him. This is him now." John said.

And 15 years ago Y/n's sister, Leyla, was kidnapped.

"He looks like a pedophile." Ariana said and everyone agreed.

"Y/n how did you find this out?" Mr. Chadwick asked.

"Well I'll just tell you the truth. I saw Ariana for the first time in almost four years yesterday. She made me sleep properly for the first time in five years and I had a dream. Well a flashback in the form of a dream. And I remembered seeing him before because he was the one that kidnapped my sister. I had seen him talking to my sister a day before her disappearence and on the day of her disappearence I saw his car and him in my street." Y/n explained and Mr. Chadwick nodded.
