It's been a month later, Lisa Crossroad was put into prison for three years and Y/n had been going to therapy regularly. She was getting better and Ariana noticed. Y/n didn't have any bad dreams anymore and Ariana was glad.
"Hey pa." Y/n hugged Ariana's father.
Ariana was doing something work related so Edward came over.
"Hey." He hugged her back.
"Your daughter means everything and more to me pa and I want to spend the rest of my life proving that for her. I can't ever imagine being with someone else. I want to ask Ariana to marry me soon so I want to ask for Ariana's hand in marriage." Y/n told him.
There was a moment of silence before Edward spoke.
"I can't believe you're asking me this. Of course you can! Matter of fact I want you to!" Edward said and Y/n smiled widely.
"Thank you so much." Y/n said and hugged him tightly.
"I'm so happy about this! Ariana always talks about marrying you. There's nothing else she talks about." Exward said and Y/n smiled.
"What are the plans?" Edward said.
"Well let me text the group chat first. We have a group chat for everyone that wanted to know and they'll come over in a bit." Y/n explained and Edward nodded his head.
"You would've married her regardless of my answer, right?" Edward asked.
"I love Ariana too much to not marry her because you said it." Y/n said honestly and Edward smiled.
"That's what I like to hear." He said and they walked to the living room.
After a while the doorbell rung but it was Ariana.
"Baby? What are you doing here so soon?" Y/n asked.
"Ugh! I forgot my purse baby." Ariana ran around the house looking for it.
"I found it." She said and held her purse up.
"Okay, I'll see you later. I love you bye." She kissed Y/n's cheek before running out again.
"That was close." Y/n told Edward and he nodded.
After another five minutes the doorbell rung again but this time everyone that was expected walked in.
There now were Victoria, Courtney, Joan, nonna, Aaliyah and Edward. Frankie wasn't there because he had a big mouth. Ariana and Y/n always thought that maybe it was Frankie who leaked everything. But they loved him regardless.
"So I've got the original pearl of Ariana's grandpa. I was thinking a ring with diamonds around the pearl." Y/n said and everyone nodded.
"It also makes more sense because the pearl is for Ariana's protection. So like- the diamonds around the ring protect the pearl." Y/n explained and everyone awwed.
"Anyway I want you guys to put the idea of going back home to Florida into her head. Only for a couple of days. I want to go to all the important places for us with her. And when I propose to her, I want to propose at the beach because that's where I give her the first paper ring and she said we had to recreate that scene with a real proposal." Y/n said.
"Y/n, you're literally so cute!" Joan said.
"I can't believe it's finally happening." Nonna shed a tear.
"It is nonna! I'm so happy." Y/n clapped her hands.
"Do you have the ring?" Courtney asked.
"Yeah." Y/n said and nervously showed it to everyone.
