"Good morning baby." Ariana kissed Y/n's cheek.
They still haven't kissed.
"Hi baby." Y/n smiled.
"You have to go to work. I already made yo breakfast." Ariana said and Y/n looked her with pure love in her eyes.
"Baby, it's 5am." She said and Ariana shrugged.
"Come. Get up." Ariana said and got up from the bed.
Y/n stretched and then went to do her morning routine. Ariana poured some orange juice into a glass for Y/n and waited for her to come.
After a while Y/n came downstairs and hugged Ariana from behind.
"Thank you baby." Y/n kissed her neck lovingly and Ariana turned around in Y/n's arms.
"Don't thank me." Ariana smiled but Y/n could see through her immediately.
"What's wrong?" Y/n asked and Ariana sighed.
"I don't know how to explain." Ariana said.
"You know I'll understand either way." Y/n said and Ariana nodded her head.
"It's just that I'm still feeling super emotional from being back with you. I still haven't actually realized and accepted the fact that it's you and me now. We're together. We're gonna get married and everything. I spend every single day without you for four years. It's so hard to realize that I get to wake up next to you every morning now." Ariana explained and Y/n smiled.
"You explained it perfectly baby. I feel the same way too though. But it's okay. We got each other and that's all that matters." Y/n told her.
"I know. But I get so sad when I think about all the time we spent apart. And I get sad when you leave for work too. I want to spend every moment in my life without. Even when I have to use the bathroom I start to miss you. And I hate it because I should be happy that you're with me." Ariana said and Y/n smiled once again.
"We're gonna work on that. Okay?" Y/n asked and Ariana nodded.
"Now once I finish breakfast, I'll go to work. For only a few hours. Not five years." Y/n said and Ariana pouted.
"Stop." Ariana's lips quivered.
"Okay okay. But don't worry. Just text me when you want to talk to me." Y/n told her.
"But I want to talk to you all the time." Ariana pouted.
"You know, I think it'd be best if you stayed alone with your feelings until I'm back. I wanted to tell you to call your friends but they would only be a distraction and that's not what we want. We want a long lasting solution, right?" Y/n asked and Ariana nodded her head.
"Good. Now let's eat." They sat down at the dining table and ate breakfast while talking about a few things.
Y/n wanted to tell Ariana that she was still working on Amani's and Leyla's case but she couldn't bring herself to. She knew Ariana would be scared that the same thing that happened five years ago would happen again.
"I'll see you later baby." Y/n kissed Ariana's cheek.
"I love you." Ariana pouted.
"I love you." Y/n smiled before going to work.
She took out the files of the five girls' cases and went through them until she noticed the same pattern. Even back in 1996 when Khadija went missing, the police questioned her teachers and it was always one teacher in particular.
Y/n spent the rest of her work day writing down questions that she was going to ask Amani's old teacher, Ms. Crossroad.
"Excuse me Mr. Chadwick." Y/n walked into his office after knocking before.
