Chapter 7

Two days later Ariana was in her room, listening to some songs of her almost finished album.

She wanted to add a sad song so she started singing what she had in mind after turning her recorder on.

"How do I make the phone ring?
Why do I even care?
How are you all around me,
When you're not really there, mmm?" Ariana started.

Even though Y/n wasn't there, everything reminded Ariana of her.

"When you're not really there?"

"How do I feel you on me,
When you're not on my skin?
How do you say you want me
Then tell me you're not coming in?
Baby just come on in." She sang.

"Cause every time I'm with you,
I go into a zone.
And I remember all the places you wanna go. Take me all the way ooh.

"Cause every time I see you,
I don't wanna behave.
I'm tired of being patient so let's pick up the pace. Take me all the way ooh.

"How do you know I'm breathing, when I'm holding my breath?
Why don't we face the danger, just for the night and forget?
Baby let's just forget no-ohhh." Ariana's emotions were as clear as water when she sung those words dedicated to Y/n.

"Remind me why we're taking a break.
It's oviously insane, cause we both know what we want.
So why don't we fall in love?
Baby let's fall in love." She closed her eyes as she pictured Y/n standing in front of her while she sung the bridge.

The chorus followed after that the refrain, the bridge, the chorus again and the outro finished the song.

She hadn't realized how emotional she was because once she finished singing she had to wipe her tears away. The second she finished she got a call.

"Hey Ricky." Ariana smiled.

"Hey Ari. What are you doing?" Ricky asked.

"I was working on my album a little. What 'bout you?" Ariana asked him.

"I was bored and I was thinking maybe we could go out." He said.

"Like a date?" Ariana asked.

"It's whatever you want it to be." Ricky said.

"It's a date then." Ariana said and he smiled.

"Okay great." Ariana could hear Ricky's smile.

"What should I wear?" Ariana asked.

"I was thinking a fancy restaurant." Ricky said.

"Okay." Ariana smiled before she hung up.

She got ready in two hours and was waiting for Ricky. She tried to convince herself that this was what she needed.

"I'm waiting outside." Ricky texted her.

She left him on read, grabbed her purse and left the apartment.

"Hey." Ariana kissed Ricky's cheek.

"Hey." He smiled before opening the door for her.

During their date Ariana noticed that Ricky was funny but she couldn't help but compare his jokes to Y/n's. Y/n was funnier by miles ahead.

Even though Y/n could be a very serious person, she was always extremely funny and chill around Ariana. It was something Ariana loved about Y/n.

People wondered how Y/n and Ariana could be together because to them, they seemed completely different, but they didn't know the real Y/n. The Y/n around her Ariana.
