"A beer on the rocks!" a man shouted in the bar. "¡Ya voy!" you yelled. You quickly piled the tower of glasses on your tray from empty tables as you skittered back to the back. You set the sticky-rimmed cups down by the bartender as he eyes you up and down before meeting eyes with your sweat drenched face. "You're working yourself too hard, girly." he sighed. You shook your head vigorously. "It's okay! I'm used to work like this!" you smiled with a lopsided grin.

He flopped a rag in your face. the wet cloth hitting your face with a squishy sound. "Well then, wipe your face off. Your sweat's turned to grease." he clicked in disgust.

You chuckled slightly, wiping the cool rag on your face before slinging it back at him, earning a cackle from his dry lips. You grabbed up the clean glasses and quickly poured the bottle of liquor into the  and dashed to the tables. "Here you are, señor." you said, handing the man his auburn liquid. "Gracias. What's a little girl like you doing here in a bar?" the man tilted his head. You hummed. "For your information, I'm Y/A." you added. The man let out a chuckle. "Eh, you look younger." he stated. You put your hands on your hips. "Runs in the familia." you shrugged.

He nodded his head as you took his friend's empty glass. "Enjoy your drink." you said, patting his shoulder.

It's so hard to make money in Del Mar. The richest person here is the governor of Del Mar. The bastardo has everything handed to him on a gold platter. You did have a job as a bounty hunter, but no one thought that a "little girl" would be able to hunt down bounties.

You've heard rumors of a small orange gato wearing boots coming to visit Del Mar soon. You've also heard he has a bounty on his head, you'll give it a try.

2 days later.
2 días después.
(Brought to you by Perro's puppy eyes!)

You heard people cheering outside the tavern. You turned around just as a man yelled "Make way!".

So the rumors were true....A small orange cat walked his way into the bar wearing boots, a belt and cape, and lastly a black hat with a canary yellow feather attached. You furrowed your eyebrows as he hopped onto a stool.

"What can I get you?" the bartender said, trying to contain a smile. "Some leche, please." Puss smiled. The bartender tapped my shoulder as I nodded. "Coming up!" you said. You poured the glass of milk and set it on the table. "Gracias, señorita." he said, giving you a small wink.

You smiled. "So you are the legendary, Puss in Boots, huh?" you asked, leaning on the table. He stood up on his chair. "Indeed I am Puss in Boots!" he said, unsheathing his sword to slice the air. "Mmm, I'm convinced now." you joked. He sheathed his sword with a bow.

A small kid peeked his head over the tavern doors, hoping to catch a glimpse of the hero. You smiled as you tapped his shoulder. "I don't mean to rush you, gatito, but you have fans waiting for you." you purred. His green eyes shot up towards you. "Ah, yes, I forgot! But please...never use that verbiage with me again." he added politely.

Ah, so the cat doesn't like being called kitty, noted.

You chuckled slightly. "Of course." you said. He finished his glass as he stood up from the table. "May I ask your name?" he asked. "The moniker given to me is Y/N." you said.

He grabbed your hand with his paw and gave it a small kiss. "Y/N, I will remember that name." he bowed. A small blush traveled across your face. "Go on, now! You have fans waiting!" you said, pushing his shoulder. He hopped down from his chair and waved his hat at the remaining people in the pub. "Adios!" he shouted, earning a wild cheer from the people in the tavern.
