You balanced your hands on the trees as you limped quickly, catching yourself tree to tree. A whistle sliced through the trees. The trees all sifted to the tune, as if they feared him too. You had to go faster.

"Keep running, it makes it more fun for me." he said in a sing-song tone. You kept running, no matter how hard it hurt.

You turned around to the shadows of the forest. His red eyes were nowhere to be seen. You suddenly tipped backwards as your back met water. You plunged into the cold lake. You tried to swim up. 'Damn you, stupid leg.' you cursed. You couldn't do it.

(Small nap brought to you by Perrito just being cute!)

"Hey, hey! Are you okay?" a voice whined. Your eyes shot open as you jolted up. "Oh, thank goodness! I though you died!" a small puppy dog sighed.

You rubbed your head. You looked to the wide blue-eyed chihuahua. "What happened?" you mumbled. He yipped happily. "I found you by the lake. You were passed out and hurt very much. I heard that if you jump on people's stomach enough they'll wake up. So I jumped on you until you started breathing!" he said excitedly, his big blue eyes shining.

You smiled. "You're so sweet!" you cooed, "Thank you!" you answered rubbing his head. He turned away, "Oh, anyone would've done it. I just did the right thing!" he blushed slightly. You glowered of into the distance. "Not everyone." you mumbled, trying to stand up. The small chihuahua pushed at your legs, trying to help you.

He's so cute!

You turned to the little perro. "What's your name, cutie?" you purred once you made it to you feet. He blushed, "Oh, me? I don't have a name! What's your name?" he asked. You picked him up. You looked at his makeshift sock-sweater, it was very dirty.

"My name's Y/N. Where are you going, perrito?" you asked. "I like to take walks around here. I can take you to a house close to here. I live under the porch, because I don't have a home." his tongue lathed out happily.

Vaca sagrada, this dog is way too innocent.

"I need some medical attention. Do you mind if I come with you?" you asked. He smiled wider. "Oh, , ,! I'd love you too!" he barked happily, running around in circles.

(Time skip brought to you by Perrito telling stories)

"Look, were here! Don't stop yet, please!" Perrito whined, concerned for your health. You moaned with pain as you knocked at the door of the beautiful foliage covered house.

"Go away! You can't take my baby's from me!" a woman's voice yelled. You sat on the deck in defeat. You looked to Perrito when he made a meowing sound. He wore a fake cat hat with a tail too. "You like my outfit? I made it myself, I can hide it in my sweater." he giggled. You nodded as the door opened, a dark skinned woman with very white curly hair came out of the door.

"Aw, aren't you adorable!" she squealed to the dog. You gripped the edge of her skirt to get her attention. She whirled around to see you. Her eyes went wide. "Good heavens, what happened to you?" she asked. You opened your mouth but was ushered inside before you could speak.

"I'll get some bandages for you, kay honey? I'll be right back." she said quickly, setting down the dog. You looked to Perrito who was already making himself at home. "Look at all these cats! Hi, I'm new here!" he meowed.

That's when you realized. There were cats. Dios mío, so many cats.

The woman came back with a first aid kit and a cup containing some liquid. "Here you are, honey." she said. You grabbed the cup as she started applying salve to your wounds. You took a sip of the tea. It tasted awful. "What kind of tea is this?" you asked, taking another sip, gingerly. "Cat nip tea, I make it myself. My name is Mama Luna. But may I ask, how did you get these wounds, hun?" she asked. You glared at the window. "A wolf."
