The music ended abruptly as Death kissed your hand. "Thanks for the dance, amor." he purred, licking his dry muzzle. You felt butterflies crawl through your stomach as it became hard to breath. "I-I need some air. I'll be right back." you yelped. You ran through the crowds to the balcony as you opened up the door to the terrace. You sighed before looking down at your shaking hands. "What is wrong with me?" you asked.
"It's called falling for someone." a voice answered from behind. You jump as he sniffed the air with satisfaction. You were about to start yelling at him before his finger grazed you lip. "Shh, you'll ruin the moment, querido." he hummed. He sat down on the stone seating as he held a hand out to you. You walked closer but just out of reach from his grasp. "Sit." he commanded.
"Make me." you hissed. His eyes lit up with a predatory gleam as he chuckled. "Careful what you wish for, cariño." he said. He stood up to his full height as he smiled evilly. You backed up as you bolted for the door. He grabbed you waist before setting you down again, right on his lap. "Good girl." he purred. His head rested on yours.
"W-why are you doing this?" you asked, confused at this affection you were being rewarded. "This is a way people show they love each other, is it not?" he asked. You shook your head. "No, you're right but....Why are you doing this to me? You wanted to kill me a few days ago and now you're doing this." you answered. Death rubbed his narrow head against your cheek. "I want to protect you, I...I usually love to make people scared, but when you cry...It hurts like a knife." he said.
You looked at him with a smile. "Well at least no more scaring me, I guess." you added. He smirked before chuckling slightly. "Hey, I know this might not be the best time but you still owe me one more time." he added. You shot up from his lap. "What?!" you yelled. He laughed. "Yup, I bandaged up your wound so that makes one more." he answered. You stomped you foot before turning to him. "Okay, what do I need to do?" you asked irritably. He smiled before patting his hand on his lap. "I'll make it simple. Sit." he said. You obeyed him.
He pat your head. "Good. Now, I want...a kiss." he purred. Your eyes widened. "A kiss?!" you screamed. He nodded. "Simple, is it not?" he asked. You would've clawed your eyes out if you could. "Tick tock, it'll be over quicker if you don't think about it." he said snapping his paw. You leaned in close to him. His eyes trailed to your lips as you quickly pecked him on the cheek.
Your face was a red as a tomato as you looked away from him. "T-there. Happy now?" you asked. "I didn't specify where though." he smirked. You snapped you head back to him. His finger touched your lips before he touched his own. "Right here." he cooed.
You blushed madly before leaning back in. You licked your lips before your lips barely touched his. His tail was wagging fiercely. You could tell he enjoyed this very much. His hand shot up to your head a he pushed you into the kiss. You're eyes widened before you hummed happily. It felt nice.
"You are mine. And only mine."
(Two years later)
"Mama, look!"
You turned around from the cutting board as you looked at your son. He looked like his father but with green and blue eyes. He held up a stick with a little bug on it. "That's so cute! But please take it outside." you groaned. He smiled before his twin sister came running in. Her human appearance didn't stop her from running on all fours as she lunged at her brother. Her white-grey hair was long and sleek. Her eye was red and the other was yellow. She growled before tumbling onto her brother. She grabbed the bug and shoved it into her mouth. "Yum!" she yelled loudly. The boy looked at the lonely stick. Tears started to fill his eyes. "Momma! She ate Lamar!" he cried.
