"Are you serious Olivia?" the girl named Olive, who played Quinn in Thanks to You said to her on screen and off screen friend Witney who played Olivia.
This morning we were re-shooting a scene that was meant to be filmed in New York City, but the hotel we wanted was closed for a conferance, but luckily we got to film in a gorgeous hotel in downtown London.
I then felt my iphone buzz to be welcomed by a range of messages that where from Frankie and Declan, documenting Charlotte's recital for me.
As the scene went on, the photos kept coming. "Noelle do you want to cut?" A producer asked me, who i believed went by the name Howard.
"No it's alright, keep shooting...I'll be right back" and then, I was walking out of the hotel room were filming in, walking to the end of the hallway so I could be alone.
Walking down the hallway I couldn't help but wonder, Did any other actors, directors, etc ever be in my situation? Be far away from there loved ones, and have to result to late night nexts from them? Probably, I can totally see Steven Speilburg looking at his iphone.
I then began to scroll through the many pictures sent to me....
Message 1 from Declan was a picture of Frankie, reading the program, pointing at his neices names with a beaming smile, 'Real men like dancing. Miss you babe xx'
Message 1 from Frankie contained 2 photos, one of Charlotte stretching and watching her teacher, with a beaming smile. The second one was of Charlotte actually rehearsing, standing on her toes, and everything. 'At the rehearsals. Doesn't she look sweet with that bow on her head? #prouduncle'
God I missed home so much.
Message 2 from Declan was a picture of the huge crowd in the small theater. I didnt understand the point of the photo until I read the caption, 'Okay Nellie. Time to play where's Frankie. I'm not saying I lost him....' Couldn't help but chuckle at that like a weirdo in the middle of the hallway.
Message 2 from Frankie made me laugh so hard, I probably sounded like a dying donkey. The photo was of Declan sitting inbetween to very....large mothers, and he had an extremely tense face on, but still a little smile. The caption red, 'Meanwhile, excited Declan sitting between two moms. He looks a little tense...and maybe squished?'
The very last photo was of Frankie, screaming his head off, but the funny thing was....no one else was screaming. And of course, the caption said, 'Didn't know that Charlotte will turn her uncle's crazy fangirl mode on'
I need to go home as soon as possible, or I think I was going to burst.
