(Narrative POV)
You wake yourself to the sounds of your closet being rummaged. confused, you force yourself to sit upright.

"Good morning Comrade!" Childe's voice rings in your ears, making you turn to that exact direction.

You see Childe standing before you, using his harbinger outfit and Zhongli back inside the monitor.

"Childe please don't tell me you're leaving" you plead, rushing up to him and giving him a tight hug.

He lets out a chuckle, petting your hair as your glistening tears stream down your cheeks.

The ginger-haired male gave you a reassuring smile and an endearing gaze. Looking down at you, he says.

"You're coming with me"

-

"ouch.." you say, rubbing your head. Unaware of your surroundings due to the blurriness. It took you some time to realize you were atop of Qingyun peak.

"HOLY FUCK"

"Shhh shh relax" a familiar voice reassures you, rubbing your shoulders. His gaze seemed soft on you, and almost immediately. You recognized it.

Childe gave you a small smile, lifting you up to your feet carefully.

You scanned yourself, looking down at the shiny geo vision bestowed upon your belt. It seemed as if its previous owner of the vision dumped it.

"Don't worry, I begged Zhongli for a vision for you. He... did not deny my request to my surprise"

Childe states, happily chuckling right after. His eyes shaped like crescent moons and his playful laugh leaking out.

You grin at him, dusting off your clothes. You were in some sort of... weird 'vision wielder' outfit, just like Childe or any other playable character.

You were wearing a ridiculously pretty outfit. A dress shirt tucked in with a vest, your sleeves tattered with liyue-like pattern(for further context like zhongli's dragon patterns), your liyue vision clipped to your belt, a puffed up ruffle skirt with more liyue-like patterns, white stockings and shin-high steampunk boots. Lastly, your hair wavy and a tophat. Your whole outfit was a mix match of all your favorite colors colliding in such a magnificent way.

"You know, if I'm being really honest with you. You're really pretty" Childe compliments, rubbing his forearm with pink dusted on his cheeks. He seemed nervous about showing you how things work here. So he decided to take things slow.

"Now the question is, how do I glide??" you ask him, terrified of the heights of Qingyun Peak.

"Well, as of now. You don't have a gliding license. You should be able to obtain one in Mondstadt, though. It is very much not needed, So. Here in Liyue, you could use it without a license. Only in adventure grounds of course"

Childe briefly explained, handing you a liyue-an glider as you nodded profusely.

Analyzing the glider, it must've belonged to his little siblings or his sister. It seemed too small to him, which is why he handed it off to you.

"Teucer's a big boy now, and i doubt he'd be able to use these. He's way taller than you, you know"

Childe giggled, reassuring you before gliding down on his own. Expecting you to follow.

You spreaded your gliders, and flew down with Childe. Feeling yourself tremble at the thickness of the air and the heights below.

Childe looks back at you, with a concerned gaze. He seems worried you might not like this new experience of yours, but then he lends you a relaxed smile. To tell you that everything is gonna be alright.

Once you both reached the bottom, he cheered for you. Clapping his hands in the air.

He hugged you tight, his taller and masculine body engulfing you in a teddy bear hug. He seemed very fond of you, after all. It was the first time in forever he had empathy for such a human other than his family.

"You did great! I'm so proud of you!" he praises. His gaze softens at the sight of your beautiful eyes. You blushed in response, attempting to hide your face. Though he surprised you with a forehead kiss.

Just when you two were having a peaceful moment. Childe whispered "Stand behind me"

He whipped out his hydro swords, the thirst of battle drowning his innocent ocean blue slits.

The art of his swordsmanship unleashing once he was swarmed with groups of hilichurls.

He looked back at you, signaling for you to use your vision. You felt confused, though you pulled out a book from your bag and made it come to use as a catalyst.

You focused your elemental energy on Childe and yourself, creating a durable shield that surrounded you two.

Childe was busy murdering each and every hilichurl he hadn't noticed the shield. He was completely different in battle, he was driven to kill and his insanity was over the roof.

Once he was done eliminating all the opponents, he looked back at you. A crazed yet endearing expression held on tight to his face.

His clothes were slightly torn, his exposed abdomen covered in scratches and his face smudged with blood and sweat.

"Like what you see eh?" the taller male chuckled, leaving you embarrassed.

You healed him with your elemental powers as best as you could which made him smile a lot more. Most of the scratches he had after the battle had turned into scabs, and the ripped clothing returned back to normal. Huh, weird.

"There you go" you pet his hair, while his eyes smiled.

"Let's head to Liyue now, there are some well known cuisines I enjoy getting my hands on. I usually eat them with Mr Zhongli, though now that I have you. I won't have to worry!"

-

Letting the fresh noodles slip into your mouth and the perfectly cooked bacon swim amongst the soup in your mouth, you felt pleased.

The flavors and spices blended so well in the noodle soup you ate, it nearly caused you to grow envious of how good food is here.

The harbinger looked over to you, a smug grin plastered across his face. He loved seeing you happy, it pleased him to his core to see his future shining bright upon him.

"Enjoying yourself huh?" he quirks, his narrowed eyes focused on your movements as you wiped off the soup splurged around the line of your lips.

You nod, finishing up the noodles while Childe pays for the bill. He only ate rice and fried milk tofu, though. The whole time he was too focused on you.

As you chug down the large mug of tea, you prepare yourself for a question that Childe was not expecting for you to ask.

"Where did Mr Zhongli go?"

Cold sweat ran down his temples, a shiver running down his spine in memory of a certain adeptus. He nervously chuckled before letting out a big sigh.

"Well... he's... with his friend. I'd say haha!" Childe concludes, clasping his hands as he stands up. Dodging your next question about the adeptus-friend.

You sigh and continue walking down the streets of Liyue with your loving ginger-head.
