(Narrative POV)
It was your first day in your newly renovated home, everything looked oh-so stunningly perfect. The whole house felt like the home you never had, it already looks like it would hold lots of endearing memories revolving you and Childe. You never intended for your relationship to take such a big leap, after all. You thought of Ajax as an unachievable dream. For many years, he kept you hooked onto genshin.

"Hey, you alright?" your lover questions, stirring his cup of morning coffee. A loving gaze plastered across his eyes. His eyes were filled with desirable wonders that you craved as a woman with such reliance on others after those traumatizing incidents. He tilted his head, letting out a small "hm?" before you gulped, snapping back to reality and reassuring him that you felt at ease.

He cracked a smile, narrowing his eyes. Taking in your appearance. To him, you meant everything. Even if this was all just some fairy tale, he couldn't help but fall for you harder than anyone he's ever dated.

"I for one, have never seen you in such a composed state, dear. Mind sharing?" He budges, perking his eyebrows in a playful way awaiting your response. You clear your throat and shrugged it off, deeming him as some tiresome bastard.

He whined like a little child, crossing his arms and huffing out an arrogant "hmmph!" before Treading towards the couch and throwing a pillow onto your face. Spitting out a big laugh before you cursed him out.

You smiled to yourself, getting a view of Childe's gentle smile accompanied with rays of the warm morning sun blinding your eyes. As if this memory were to be a vividly lovely one.

His ocean eyes twinkled, shrugging his shoulders with an eyebrow raised as he stared at you. A lovely gaze plastered across his glimmering sea-like orbs.

"Shall we start this day off by going out?" He asks, rubbing your shoulder. A smile etched on your face as you nodded shyly, he seemed pleased by this. It was as if he took you in as one of his very fond memories.

He picked you up, carrying you bridal style towards your bedroom. He set you down on the bed and picked out some thick clothing for you to wear, even if it was slightly warm due to the sun. The air still felt thick, suffocatingly cold.

"I was sure to bring some cream that'll keep your skin moist while we hang out under the snowy scapes of our cottage. Since, your skin might get dry and crack up. We wouldn't want that, would we?" he suggests, nudging your shoulder. A caring sight appearing in his eyes. He seemed to really adore you to be doing all of this.

"Yea, i wouldn't want cracky and flakey skin. Just like yours!" You joke, poking his cheek earning a small "hey!" from him. His face slightly pink from your joke, he seemed to be heavily embarassed by that.

You changed into some more comfortably thick clothes, which was a thick snow coat. It seemed expensive of course, classic Childe. Some baggy jeans and cute snow boots that hugged your ankles, making sure of your safety incase you manage to slip on ice.

Childe also enveloped your neck in his red scarf, even though you insisted he wore it. He only shook his head and denied the offer, wrapping it around your neck gently to make sure you were warm.

He planted a kiss on your forehead, his lips then curved into a smile after he pulled away. After that, proceeded to pack some items in his bag while you checked yourself out in the mirror.

He grabbed your hand and guided you outside, teaching you how to gently set foot on the snow. He handheld you and guided you throughout all your steps, earning an occasional "good girl!" or "you're doing great! Im so proud of you" causing widened smiles to appear on your cute face.

After you had gotten used to walking in snow that would sink your feet. You decided to do a snowball fight, crafting the biggest balls to hit your lover with.

He laughed after getting hit in the face with a snowball, throwing several back at you. He seemed so happy around you, his sad self was nursed back into its horrid place. Never once returning out of it's shed after you came along.

The soft spot in his heart specifically reserved for you, the only person he would sacrifice his all for. He loved you dearly. More than anything in the world. If he were to lose you, he'd lose himself first.

"Ahaha! Please! Its too cold! I cant take it!" Childe joked, holding his hands out as you buried Childe in snow. You laughed, only keeping his head poked out after covering him in snow.

It felt as if you were coveting his internal wounds, aiding them back to patched up scars that'll fade overtime. He felt as if he did not deserve you. The love, happiness and care you have gifted him with was unbearable.

After you two finished making snow angels, you both head over to the thickly iced lakes. Putting on some ice skates, then after. you both skated.

He held you in his embrace, guiding you as you danced across the frozen lake. Time seemed to have frozen in place, the only thing remaining was the love in his eyes.

Then, you fell on your bottom. A laugh escaping from Childe's lips, causing a small grumble to make its way out of your mouth. You seemed pretty tired of his childish behavior so you swept him off his feet and he landed flat on his back, small tears forming at the brims of his eyes.

He choked out a sob, making you worry and cradle him in your arms. He kept acting like a drama queen, so you just left him five minutes after trying to console him.

He giggled, tackling you onto the frozen lake. Endearingly embracing you in his warmth. He snuggled up to your chest, staying still for several minutes until you pushed him away.

After you both changed into normal shoes, Childe took you ice fishing under the meteor showered skies. Everything seemed so peaceful.

"Say, babe. Why do you like doing this?" you asked, gesturing with your hands. Returning them into a crossed position as he let out a tired sigh. He seemed as if this secret of his were to be unveiled soon.

"It reminds me of the time my father used to value me." he stated poorly, his voice cracking into some sensitive cry. He bit his trembling lip to prevent himself from crying his heart out.

You clung him close to you, embracing him in a motherly way. He sobbed and sobbed while you rocked him back and forth. He explained how after his mother disappeared (the one you met in the previous chapters), his father became far more abusive. To the point the fatui had to confiscate him from his own family.

For years and years, he had to solely depend on his work as a source of comfort. The only thing that kept his mind off of those negative thoughts. He never imagined recreating this lovely moment once more.

You look up among the stars, his constellation forming among them. You smile at them and see a golden twinkle racing down across the skies and near a field.
