(Narrative POV)
"Remember, the future i told you about is only an estimation. I cannot be 100% correct. But do call me if you are in need of guidance."  the voice of your worried best friend ringing in your head as you try to recall last night's events. You seemed to be thinking deeply about her sayings, one thing that bothered you was that you craved more leads tied to you and Childe's future. though she specified that she didn't want to spoil any of it.

"Ugh, I really  want to know! I'm just so hesitant on asking" you grumbled, running your nails across the follicles of your hair. Itching your head to let the blood flow. You were extremely curious as to why she kept it a secret and it bugged you badly.

Childe noticed your odd behavior, and he could only smile at it. Despite the fact that he could tell you what were to happen, it'd spoil away what he originally planned. He walked away gleefully, humming some sort of merry tune before making some breakfast for the two of you.

These thoughts drove you crazy, as if you were about to blow your head off with a gun. You were so so convinced that Childe was planning something stupid and it stressed you out.

"Ugh, whatever. I'll just wash myself up. I feel like shit" You groaned, dragging yourself out of bed and scanning your wardrobe, looking for comfy clothes to wear. Your eyes land on some cute (f/c) shorts with strawberry patterns on it.

You decided that today was the day you laze away to your heart's desire. You picked up the cute (f/c) hoodie and shorts, alongside your undergarments. Walking into the bathroom with them in hand.

Engulfing yourself in shower thoughts, you thought if Childe had plans today. After your encounter with Mimi and her weird animatronic boyfriend, you wondered if he'd like to see them again.

As you finished showering and prepping yourself up for today, you walked out of your bathroom. Brushing your towel against your damp scalp, you made sure not a single droplet of water races down your shirt.

You began walking out, today was still cold and you had nothing better to do except stay indoors and dwell on shows, books and even news articles for entertainment. It was not hard to satisfy those needs but some part of you felt truly unproductive. It wasn't difficult to differentiate but It surely was bothersome.

Though, those thoughts dissipated once you glance back up at the now-happy and loving harbinger cooking up breakfast. He seemed to be making a dish from his home town, it seemed like a soup worth consuming.

"What's that?" you question, peering over Childe's shoulder trying to get a good look on what his mighty hands might've been crafting. He let out a content sigh before turning his head to face you.

"It's called borscht, it's a dish that I usually make for my younger siblings and I. Although I quite frankly miss my home. I think that staying here with you really makes up for the wounds I've gained in Teyvat" Childe states, turning down the heat to low. The unbeknownst sadness in his tone hidden very well. He seemed to be craving the presence and attention of his younger siblings and it etched a wound in your heart seeing him so low.

"That's nice dear.. however, are you sure you're fine being stuck here with me? I feel like a burden on you. It's honestly devastating to see you in such a sta-"

"please, do not empathize me.." He cut you off, giving an endearing smile. He then continued as he stirred up the soup, adding several key ingredients. "I have lived my life to the fullest in Teyvat, now it is nothing but my background. There is a reason  as to why I chose to stay here with you instead of my own home." his voice trailing into an inaudible mumble, he seemed to feel troubled by how caring you were towards him. It was not normal for him to receive such love from someone.
