Chapter 26

(A/N)
A short note before we start, i'd like to thank you all for the support! i have not been updating on this book. But i guess you could say, that the next few chapters will most likely be the end of otherworldly touch! I will add bonus content from time to time, however. I don't think i would ever reconsider continuing this book :') Anyway, have fun reading this chapter! (Narrative POV)
As the pitiful darkness came to an end, you were greeted by the face of your one and only. Childe, he seemed delighted to see you. No words could describe the pure confusion visible on your poor face. Tilting your head to the side, you allowed your blurry vision adjust to your surroundings.

"Honey! You've been dead asleep for awhile now, are you feeling any better?" Your ginger haired boyfriend chirped, with those words alone. You felt excitement bubble inside of you, was he finally going to hint out what he's been doing?

"Yeah im fine" you say, mumbling through the thick covers of your bed. The night prior, Childe had moved you into your bed since you looked like a dead shrimp sleeping on the couch. The thought alone made Childe laugh.

Then those curious thoughts hit, you could finally ask him about what he had been planning! With a smug grin on your face, you rose up from your bed. Your e/c orbs meeting with his, he moved back slightly surprised by your abnormally active behavior in the morning.

"can you please explain to me what you've been doing?! leaving me alone at home to deal with period?!" Letting go of the frustration, Childe let out a huge laugh. Grasping on his chest for air to prevent himself from choking on saliva.

"Oh you're hooked for big time honey, I can't exactly tell you yet. However, what do you say we go out for dinner tonight? treat you right after leaving you to meddle about?" A devious smirk laced his face, he folded his hands and placed them on top of your abnormally fat pet cat who seemed visibly annoyed.

"really?! Of course!" You agreed, taking one glance at the morning clock that laid still atop your bedside table. It was currently 7 in the morning meaning you had at least 12 hours to spare, you sighed before looking back at Childe who had a happy smile on his face.

"Splendid, best you spend your time today wisely as the old y/n!" Childe muttered the last words under his breath before ruffling a good amount of your hair, getting off the bed and walking off to the kitchen.

"Old Y/n?" You repeated, a wave of curiosity washes over you. Leaving you dumbfounded with your own thoughts that lingered with questions. He nods, his ginger hair flicking his eyelids as he does so. He shot you a flashy wink before speaking up once more.

"Ignore what i said, let's get today started. I'll be with you the entire day!" Your ginger haired boyfriend remarks, letting his fingers intertwine with yours as he softly pulls you out of your comfy bed. Running his hands through your hair, he leans his forehead against yours.

"God, Y/N. I truly apologize for leaving you alone these past few days.. It's just that I've been really busy with work.. I'm sorry to burden you with my troubles my love. I promise that tonight will be our night my darling y/n" he breathed out, a slight tint of remorse in his tone as he held you close by his side.

"Yeah bitch you better be sorry" You flashed a smirk, making him widen his eyes in shock.

"YOU LITTLE-"

The morning continued like usual, you finished cleaning yourselves from head to toe and currently you two were having a blast in the kitchen. Cooking food and singing ridiculous songs from the radio that sat dormant on top of your fridge.
