(Narrative POV)
"I think this one looks nice" Childe remarked, clicking on an image of a snowy cottage for sale. He thought that this would make a great home for you and him."Uh,, doesn't it look a little isolated? It's at least an hour or two away from the city" you note, crossing your arms as Childe began thinking it through. The snowy cottage reminded him too much of his home and now that he could not return to his world anymore, he urged to stay somewhere that looked like it'd be located in snezhnaya.
"You're not wrong... But do you not enjoy the experience of ice skating and treading on frozen lakes that wont break? Or going ice fishing and catching huge amounts of fish to sell or consume?" your boyfriend nudged, you were faced with a pleading look as you sigh out a big breath. A little bit taken aback by his words which he was right in.
You really did not enjoy cold weathers however since life was tougher with thick snow tattered all over the place. You enjoyed spending time in the sun, the summer breeze giving you pleasure and motivation in doing everyday errands.
If you two were to buy a house where all you could do was non-productive things, it'd cause you all to become lazy eventually too.
"But i don't think our children would like that? I mean, I personally feel like they'd be lazy like i do whenever i experience cold and harsh weathers" You explained allowing Childe to think about this selection before either moving into this house or not.
His face held a slightly sorrowful glance. resting his head on his chin, he began thinking about the consequences of living in such brute conditions.
"I think we should go drive there eh? Meet with the real estate agent and look around if you're unsure?" Childe excused, knowing he really wanted this house. You chuckle silently and accept his proposed plan.

After what seemed like decades you and Childe arrive at the little warm cottage house. Coveted with blankets of snow all around it, the home was absolutely stunning.
"Glad to have you two here! I'm assuming you two are here for a look around the house?" a man in a funny looking suit asks you two, earning a respected nod from Childe.
"Great! Come on right in!" he guided, allowing you and Childe to walk in first and view the warm home's interior. Childe gave you an excited grin before stepping foot into the small building.
The house seemed so much bigger on the inside, filled with expensive looking furnishing, polished wooden floors, a brick layered fireplace and lots of other beautifully placed decorations.
"Wow, it looks.. stunning" you say out loud making Childe's inner child scream in joy, though he stood quiet and cool about it. The agent quietly stood there, a gentle smile on his wrinkled face.
"this home was recently built for one of my dearest friend, Zyro. He sadly passed long ago and never got to see the final product"
Your heartbeat sped up, adrenaline rushing through your veins at the small coincidence. Shocked by what the agent had said. Childe noticed the shocked expression and began consoling you as the man continued explaining whatever he had to regarding the unused home.
"Hold on a moment, may I speak to my partner alone. If you would be so kind?" your partner begged oh-so nicely as the agent agreed and stepped out of the home.
You sighed out as Childe reached his hands over to your face, cupping your cheeks and caressing them to soothe you down. After some time, you take in the surroundings.
"You okay now?" he asks, unsure of whether or not you and him should move into this home because of such a confidential thing. You felt like you overreacted by such a small matter, but the fact that he left you to live on his own by faking his death brought you nothing but pure devastation.
"I see that you two like this home, how about we settle a deal and I'll sell this house to you for a fair amount?" the salesman chimed, suggesting an odd pricing amount. You and Childe stare at each other for a brief moment and nod.

After signing the papers and getting the bills settled, you and your boyfriend began searching for paint shops to head over.
The area around the cottage you planned on living in was accompanied by a lovely neighborhood, filled with caring and joy-filled neighbors.
They were all excited of your arrival and insisted on helping you pick colors and shovelling out large amounts of snow surrounding your home.
"Ah! This color looks good" remarked Childe who seemed interested in firebrick colored paint tinted with dark creme red. It gave off the color of common snezhnayan homes that smelled like sugar cookies and warm milk.
"I think it looks good, we should definitely get this." you agree, putting the bucket of paint in the cart and continuing your journey through the home depot.
You both stumble upon the bathroom section, looking at jacuzzis, bathtubs and all sorts of expensive looking shower equipment. It definitely peaked your eye, however. You felt as if it was too much.
Childe noticed this and came to your side, inspecting the prices of these equipments. Checking whether they were on sale or not. He realized that you really liked warm bathtubs and so he decided that he'd get you a bathtub that worked like a jacuzzi, crafted out of pure black marble.
He giggle to himself after talking to one of the employees regarding the tub, walking to your side while he pretended to look around.
"Found anything else yet?" his eyes glued onto your face, to which you respond with a head shake, indicating that no. You didn't find anything other than expensive items of no value.
Whipping your phone out, you check the time. It was currently 7pm and it was time you come back to your apartment and hurry up with the packing.
"I'll drive tonight, just give me the gps and I'll follow." he offered, an endearing gaze lacing his eyes as he glanced over to your tired posture.
Walking to the cashier, he paid for everything and carried the heavy buckets of paint. With you by his side, he felt as if nothing could go wrong.
He set the buckets of paint in the trunk of the car, slamming it shut as he walked over to the driver's seat. You were already dead asleep next to him and it caused him to chuckle.
Maybe to you, it would seem as if the only thing he craved was a person to lean on. Despite it being the absolute opposite, it led you on. Leaving you to ask him yourself whether he was desperate or not.
He drove the two of you home, following several idiots on the roads cussing him out for "mistakeable driving" even though he was pretty skilled at it. It agitated him for the rest of the night, however his attention was short and unmaintained when it came to them because your presence was there. Though uh, you were just a living corpse because of your exhaustion.
