(Narrative POV)
You wake up to an empty bed yet again. It seemed like Childe gets up pretty early, Until you looked at the clock that sat still on your bedside table. It read '14:23pm'. It seemed like you slept a good 10 hours or more, allowing embarrassment to sink into your stomach.

You get up on both of your feet, the lower abdomen of yours melting in pain. Clenching your stomach, you drag yourself to the bathroom and bring the care package with you. 'The crimson tide' or the 'Niagara falls of doom' are usually unbelievably painful for you so it didn't surprise you when the first or second days were hell.

The plan for today was for you to just rot away in your room until the pain ceased and once it does, you'll be able to visit Mimi for more clues and help. Though, you doubt you'd be able to crawl out of bed today. Your lower half felt too numb to move around with.

Starting the morning off with a nice warm shower, you let the droplets of water rain down on you. Seeping into your pores and washing off your worries. Water had always managed to soothe you down more than anything at the moment, usually Childe does the job but he was too busy running errands.

You step out of the shower, drying yourself off with your now damp towel and putting on some comfy clothes. This time your outfit was made out of your own creativity, a little mix and match of colors you have not worn before. It certainly brought the beauty of your body out.

Leaping onto the bed, you bathed yourself in it's soft and thick covers. The blankets you swam in were incredibly soft making the pain in your abdomen lessen. You pulled your phone out and began texting Mimi to come over instead, since Childe wasn't home anyway and that she craved your presence.

Mimi sent you a thumbs up sticker with confetti all over it, with the word "Ok" above it. She was now on the way with some food for you all to feast on. She was currently on holiday so it would only make sense she'd make time for you.

You forcefully dragged yourself across the bedroom, trotting through the house. Patiently waiting at the living room for her arrival. The living room was drowned in warmth, the cushions of the couch were pressed up against your pained abdomen and the soft pitter patter of snow tickling your window rung in your ears. The solace you once craved returning, but the chaos childe sparked was something you really longed for at this very moment.

Occasionally, the house would be filled with chatter, laughter and brief moments of comfortable silence shared amongst the two of you. Though, as of now. It felt too lonely without his lovable energy, he was just too much of a goofball not to ignore, and now that his presence remained vacant. It made it seem like hours were years to you. The loneliness tugging and clinging onto your arm each time you stumble upon one of the many scattered items he left in the house. Even though Mae was there, she'd always be hiding somewhere. Nowhere to be seen until she comes out to eat.

A loud doorbell erupted, sending you backwards by shock. The sound of the loud bell filling your ears. You softened, your eyes narrowing in slight composure as you notice the two figures that belonged to your friend and her partner. Walking up to the door, you swing it open to see your stimming friend who seemed way too excited to meet you. Her animatronic gator boyfriend stood by her, his head not unseen able due to how tall he was.

Poor Monty, getting dragged into her little errands and quests.

"Y/NNNNN!!!!!! OH MY GOD ARE YOU OKAY!??" the black haired girl screeched in absolute joy, enveloping you in such a tight hug. Tighter than the ones Childe gifted you, it seemed like she missed you presence to an extent.

"I-im FInE" you say, slapping her back repeatedly for her to let go of you. Finally being able to catch a breath from that monstrosity of a hug. She grinned at you, her smile ear to ear. It was honestly adorable.

"Come in you two" You say, beckoning them inside. Providing space for them to walk in. Monty seemed to be relatively quiet, only giving you a polite nod and small "thank you" before seating himself on the couch.

Although, one thing that concerned you was the fact that Monty was an 8 foot animatronic gator sitting on your coach.

Which meant it was tipping on ONE SIDE because of how heavy he is. He was probably heavier than the couch itself which caused worry to grow inside of you.

"MONTY ON THE FLOOR NOW." The shorter female demanded, earning a small whimper of fear from the gator animatronic. He used his claws to cover his face before slowly setting down the couch with his 4 foot long alligator tail, he proceeded to wrap his tail around himself while Mimi cleared her throat.

"Ignore him, he's annoying. Anyway, what do you wanna do Y/N??!!? Im so happy to be here with you!" Mimi states, hopping a little out of excitement and fondness. You sigh and giggle at her excited behavior, she looked like a little kid that was too excited to even contain their happiness.

"Well, i do want some clues for you while we do our nails!" Mimi gasped, her pupils shifting into little yellow stars as she held her arms close before waving them around like a little kid. She nodded profusely before standing up, almost losing her balance due to her merry behavior.

"Of course! Where's your nailcare set??" She asked, frantically looking around with sparkles in her eyes. You let out a soft chuckle before pointing at the living room bathroom. She happily obliged and ran over to retrieve the container with nail polish, acetone and cotton buds.

As she was packing up the little fiasco that is about to happen, Monty finally spoke up to you. His voice gruff but oddly soft, tinged with a little drop of guilt lacing his voice.

"I'm sorry I havn't spoken, Truly apologize for my lack of words cher' I've been feelin' oddly down" Monty confessed, fiddling with his gloved claws. His cajun accent seemingly inaudible but enough for you to process.

He reminded you of your father, his apology was always hard to decipher but his intentions hinted out his genuine sorry for his mistakes. Monty's eyes light up, although covered by his star-shaped sunglasses it still managed to show.

"might as well take this cher' as a sorry gift" Monty mentions, giving little Monty sugar cookies over to you. You thanked him and he gave you a friendly smile, not wanting to seem any weirder.

Mimi came back with all the necessary items her eyes gleaming with cheery, her eyes land on you and Monty who seemed to be talking about your boyfriend. He seemed nowhere in sight which confused the poor gator.

Mimi began painting your nails your favorite and desired color patterns, occasionally adding her tint of sparkles and cute glitter on your nails. It was a bit messy but she enjoyed it very much.
