"What the bloody fuck is wrong with all of you eh?" he spat as all of the men quieted and pointed towards my direction. The man looked and started walking towards me.

I looked at Ada "looks like we're in trouble" I started giggling, pouring myself another drink.

The man stopped as he reached us, looking at Ada and sighing. "Ada, what are you doing in here?" he said, still standing behind us. "You know ladies aren't allowed in the pub, unless they are here for pleasure."

"I beg your pardon, are you scared that two ladies could out drink you so you ban them unless they are whores?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "Well lucky for us we are whores tonight aren't we Ada?" I said spinning around in my chair giving the man a look.

"Well yes, we are, I suppose." she said, snapping her neck towards the man, who had a look of disgust on his face from what he had just heard his little sister say. "Dear brother Arthur, you don't look so good, are you scared I am whoring around?" she said looking back at me.

"Oh brother Arthur?" I said with a big smile, "this is your brother Ada, well he is much more handsome than you told me, is there only one brother here tonight?" I asked patting the seat next to me demanding he'd sit next to me.

"All of us are here." he said sitting down while pulling a small metal box from his pocket. "Well Ada, who is this I am talking to?" he said, lighting the cigarette he put in between his lips.

"This is Y/n, she moved in with me today, she wanted to come here and get to know Small Heath." Ada said.

"Is that right Y/n?" Arthur said with a grin. "Well you are gorgeous," he said, touching my hair.

"Oi- Arthur bloody hell, what are you doing over there?" another man came walking with a toothpick in his mouth.

"Another brother?" I asked, sitting up looking intrigued.

"John" he gave me his hand and I gave him mine.

"Y/n Williams, Ada's new friend" He took my hand and kissed it.

"Ada, you have a pretty friend," he winked, still holding my hand.

"Is that anyway to talk to a lady?" I said, pulling his toothpick out of his mouth. "Don't talk with your mouth full" I said sitting the toothpick down. He stood in front of me and Arthur sat next to me. Ada, still sitting where she has been, poured herself another drink.

"Were you the one who made all of these slobs hoot and holler?" he said, grabbing his toothpick back.

"I did, but I wasn't doing anything" I said looking at Ada as she crossed off a box.

"Well show us what you did then, if it was nothing" John said looking at Arthur and then looking back at me.

"Would you like a drink?" I asked and both of the boys shook their heads. I turned around and reached over the bar once more and grabbed two more glasses. I sat back down and turned to Arthur, gave him his glass while he had the biggest grin and then handed it to John while his expression looked the same as Arthur's. "See, all I did was grab a glass." I said in the most innocent voice, looking at both of them.

"I could see why they would be hollering at you," John said, licking his lips.

Another man exited the private room and started walking towards us.

"Oi Michael, this is Y/n, Ada's friend." Arthur said, putting his arm around my waist. "She's a gorgeous girl isn't she, any lad would be lucky enough to be this to her." He said, giving me a wink while I laughed once more.

Michael put his hand out and I shook it. "You boy's are some real gentlemen, giving me a handshake, or kissing my hand such as John did." Letting out another laugh noticing these three men could not stop looking at me. I turned around grabbing the empty whisky bottle and slamming it back down. "Ada, we must go now, our bottle is empty." I said turning to her showing my saddest face.

"Alright, we can have more fun back home." she said, grabbing all of the glasses.

"Could your brothers come?" I asked with another sad look.

"Michael here isn't my brother, he's my cousin, but yes they can come." She said, She grabbed the paper and pen and we both put on our fur coats again. She looked annoyed but you were only having fun.

"Alright boys, let's head to our place." I stood up locking arms with both John and Arthur. We started walking towards the door when another voice called for everyone except for me. All of them looked at each other and walked in there, even Ada looking a bit uneasy. I headed back to the bar and asked for water.

Thomas's POV

I watched as my family was leaving. "Oi-come here all of you," I said, watching them walk in one by one. "Where in the bloody hell are you going?" I asked, pressing a cigarette between my lips.

"We're going back to Ada's, with her new roommate," Arthur said, scratching the back of his head. "Do you want to come Tommy?" he asked, I shook my head no and waved them to leave.

"Back at midnight, we have some business to discuss," I said, sitting my cigarette down. The door swung shut and there I was by myself again.
