Y/n POV

"The name is Henry" the barman said, handing me the glass of water.

"Y/n" I gave him my hand and he shook it. I asked him to tell me a story about himself. I loved listening to stories others had. My father told me it was a gift being able to listen and luring men to me.

I didn't understand what he meant by that because I had never even kissed a man. I told myself I would wait until I met someone like my mother had. Someone to take care of me, not just to flirt with me. Someone I could make my own story with. Henry went on about his children and wife.

I laughed at some of the jokes he said and told him his wife and children sounded amazing.

The private door opened again and I turned to see everyone looking at me. I sat my drink down and handed Henry a wad of cash. "This is for you, since I could not buy my drinks for the night." I said slipping in over the bar.

"I cannot take this from a lady," he said looking back at me.

"I don't care, buy your wife a beautiful dress with it." I said pushing it further towards him. "I have to go," I told him, hopping out of my seat and walking towards Arthur and John. My arms linked in theirs.

We walked out of the pub and headed for home. I asked everyone questions on the walk back. We all laughed and laughed, all drunk and all together. I didn't ask why they got pulled away, I simply didn't care. I figured it was important and I shouldn't pry into others' business.

We arrived at the door and Ada walked in. It started raining and all the men walked inside. "So no one is going to dance with me?" I cried out with the biggest frown on my face.

"You're gonna get sick" Arthur spat back.

"You're afraid of a little cold Arthur?" I said giggling. I ran towards him and grabbed him, leading him out to the road. Swinging him around and laughing at his two left feet. "You weren't afraid of getting sick, you're afraid because you can't dance" I said, still spinning him around.

"I'm a bit rusty." he said laughing at me.

I ran towards John and spun him around for a few minutes, then I grabbed Michael. I loved dancing, I loved having fun. I never had to worry about anything other than that.

I knew the type of man my father was, I knew about his business. I knew how to do a lot of things but I didn't care about getting involved in any of it. The rain kept going and I finally let go of Michael and ran to the door. The men followed all in awe.

"I'll be right back," I said, running back up the stairs. I headed to my room, taking my dress off and putting on another.

I dropped the purple satin fabric over my body with nothing else on. I grabbed three towels and walked back down stairs. I handed a towel to each of the men while taking off their trench coats and caps.

"Be careful with those." Michael said drying himself off.

"I am always careful with others' stuff." I said hanging each coat up with the same cap. I walked to the living room and sat on the sofa.

I signaled to John and patted the cushion beside me. He sat next to me and Arthur and Michael sat across from me.

"You look stunning," Arthur said, grabbing the whisky next to him.

"Well thank you Arthur, you are all very handsome." grabbing a glass from his hand. "No Ada?" I said, looking for her.

"I suppose not, she has a baby she has to take care of" John said grabbing another glass.

"A baby?" I said looking at John. "Since when? She didn't have one when I first arrived." I said, not to break eye contact.

"He was with the maid, I suppose," Michael said, scratching the back of his neck.

We all drank and laughed. The men started telling more stories as I did the same. The drinking continued, glass after glass. A small knock came from the door and all the men went silent.

I didn't get up right away and it grew louder. I checked the time and thought to myself who is crazy enough to be knocking at someone's door after midnight.

I got up and walked towards the door. The men stayed silent, still drinking. I opened the door, a tall dark haired man entered and walked towards the living room. I followed him "Excuse me" my heavy accent rang the house.

"Thomas," he said, not looking back. He stopped and looked at his brothers and cousins. The silence grew louder. "Boys, let's go," he said in a low voice.

"We were having fun" I said, sitting down next to John once more.

"I don't give a bloody fuck" he said, examining me while he looked back at the boys.

"Rude one aren't you?" I laughed, picking the glasses up and heading towards the kitchen. I came back and all of them were still in the same spot. They were talking to each other and got quieter when I entered the room. "Well...since you boys have to leave, will one of you accompany me to my room?" I asked, with the biggest grin on my face.

All of them stood up and Thomas shoved John back down while Arthur shoved Michael back down and started walking towards me. We linked arms and walked upstairs.

I opened my door and Arthur followed. I jumped on the bed while Arthur sat on the edge. I grabbed two whisky glasses from my nightstand and a bottle that had not been opened yet.

Thomas's POV

I looked at the beautiful girl covered in only a layer of satin fabric link arms with one of my brothers heading upstairs with the biggest smirk on both of their faces. I looked at John and Michael "Does Ada know her roommate is a whore?" I asked, while both of the boys laughed.

"She's not a whore," John said, "She's friendly and beautiful," he said, after I looked at him with a puzzled look.

"Didn't I tell you midnight?" I looked at both of them in anger. Why were they being so stupid. "John and Michael wait by the door," I said, while pointing at their jackets.
