Ada was like the sister I never had, I had two brothers. I still have one at least I believe since father did not have to tell me any bad news. But I never had someone to take fashion advice from me or to ask me for help. I enjoyed it.

I finished getting ready and walked downstairs. Ada was waiting for me and she grabbed her coat. We both headed out the door and started walking.

"Where are we going?" I asked, locking arms with Ada.

"We're going to Polly, not the pub." she said, locking her arm with mine. "The boys will be at the pub and Thomas told Polly to stay home." Ada said, rolling her eyes.

"Then why am I all dressed up?" I asked, looking down at my shoes. "Bloody hell Ada, I did not do all of this to stay inside where only women can see me." I cried out.

"We will go to the pub once they get back Y/n, Thomas said it shouldn't take long." She said walking faster. We entered the place the rest of them called home. Ada unlocked the back door and we walked in. "Pol?" Ada cried out.

"In here love." Polly yelled, pouring a glass of whisky. "Thomas said they should be back in an hour and then we will head." she said, grabbing two more glasses. We drank the whole bottle before the men returned. "Oh there they are." Polly said, sitting her glass down and grabbing her coat. Ada and I grabbed ours and started to head out.

"Oi-now where is this beautiful lady going all dressed up?" Arthur Blocked us and grabbed my hand pulling me with him. "Care for a dance?" he asked, spinning me around.

"Arthur Shelby, have you had too much to drink?" I laughed, allowing him to keep spinning me around. "Look who doesn't have two left feet anymore." I giggled once more.

"We should be going Y/n." Ada cried out. She turned towards John and Michael "It is not your turn with her after Arthur, got it?" she pointed at them whispering. "Arthur let her go." Ada yelled. Arthur stopped dancing with me and grabbed my hand kissing it.

"Why can't we go back with you?" Arthur whined. "Come on, we could all use the fun." He said, watching as I walked away.

"Not tonight Arthur." Polly said, walking behind me.

"Goodnight boys," I threw my arm up, waving them goodbye while being dragged by Ada. "Oh come one Ada, didn't want to invite them?" I said perking up next to her.

"They are too fond of you Y/n, they will end up killing each other just to talk to you again." she said stopping.

"Oh Ada, they wouldn't do that." I laughed, looking at Polly for reassurance and nodded her head in agreement with Ada meaning I had lost this conversation.

Before entering the pub we stopped. Thomas walked out and started talking to us.

"Hello Pol, Ada." he said, nodding his head, not even looking at me.

"Can't even say hello to the lady whose breast you saw eh?" I asked, still linked with Ada laughing. "Have you ever seen breast Mr. Thomas?" I asked again, no response. "Well it is a ladies night for the three of us so we better get going," I said while Thomas stared at me.

I unlinked with Ada and walked past him still giggling at the thought he couldn't even acknowledge me. Ada followed me patting Thomas's shoulder and laughing at how I would even dare to ask him those questions.

Thoma's POV

I sent the boys home early, telling Pol that she could have a girls night with Ada. I was outside while the girls came up to me.

I acknowledged Aunt Pol and Ada but not Y/n. I didn't care to look into her eyes after the stunt she had pulled and talking about it in front of Ada and Polly.

Before Polly could get away I cleared my throat. "A word?" I looked back at Pol.

"She is a handful isn't she?" Pol asked, laughing.

"She's a brat and a no good whore." I said furiously.

"She is not a whore Thomas, she is not from here." She scoffed at the fact that I believed Y/n was a whore because she wasn't scared of me.

"Does she know about us?" I asked with a glare.

"No, nor Ada or I have told her and I doubt any of the boys have either considering that she might not be so friendly if she found out." Polly said.

"Keep it that way, I need to know more about her family." I said turning around.

Before I started walking away Polly chimed one more thing to me. "Then why don't you ask her out for lunch?" Pol said, giving me a grin. I didn't say anything and walked away.

Y/n's POV

The girls went into the private room and drank whisky all night telling stories about their past. Y/n really opened up to them but not telling them about her brother's sickness and her other brother passing before the war. It wasn't the right time and she still barely knew the two of them.

The three of us walked back to the Shelby Headquarters wrapped in each other's arms. Still laughing about the night we had just had. We entered and not one of the peaky boys in sight.

"Ada, show Y/n the guest room." Polly said, while unbuttoning her coat. Ada walked to the stairs and pointed at the last bedroom. She walked away giggling, I didn't think much of it because she was bloody drunk. I walked to the room and opened the door. I turned on the light and heard someone groan.

"Bloody hell what are you doing here?" Thomas opened his eyes, pissed that the light was not immediately turned off.

I turned around. "Ada told me to come in here to sleep, she said it was the guest bedroom..ooo that little bitch." I said laughing "That's why she was giggling when she pointed to it." I said in defeat of Ada's trick.

"Right now leave." Thomas said in a stern voice, not breaking eye contact with me.

"Well, where is the guest bedroom?" I politely asked him to actually be useful and help me. He didn't say anything so I asked again "Where is it?" I threw my hands up this time in frustration. "I'm bloody drunk, probably drunker than your sister." I said looking down at him with my hand still touching the light switch.

"We don't have one." He finally said while pointing at the light. "Now turn it off and leave."

"Then where will I sleep? Polly told Ada she is to sleep with her tonight, and why would Polly tell Ada to show me the guest bedroom if there is not one?" I asked hesitant to leave.

"Probably because of what you said to me earlier? How you tried to insult me in front of my family eh?" He said sitting up. "You'll have to keep opening doors until you find an empty bed, which there won't be."

"Then where is Arthur's room?" I asked, still standing in front of the man who accused me of insulting him. He gave me a blank stare
