Y/n's POV

All he had to say was what, that's all? I slapped him across the face until I heard the door open. In came three of the Peaky Blinders with blood covering their face.

"Oh my...Arthur, John, Michael," I said, running up to them. "What happened?" I asked, running my fingers across Arthur's face.

"Towels and new clothes in the bathroom boys," Thomas said, he seemed rather jealous about how worried I was about them, especially Arthur.

Arthur had turned into one of my good friends. We talked about everything, about our families and how the war changed everything. I told him about my brother who had passed, I didn't mention my other brother who was still getting over his sickness.

It had been a month already and I still hadn't seen him or my mother. I sent letters and they wrote back, that's how I knew about Thomas wanting to be an ally with my father.

"All worried about Arthur, even after our little moment." He said, stepping behind me. I turned and slapped him. He looked at me, his eyes grew colder.

"What did I say Thomas? Want me to take these gloves off and show all of them how much of a monster you truly are?" I asked, glaring at him. Daring him to make another move.

"What they did was just business, meet me in my room when we get back." he said, walking past me tapping the door waiting for the others to come out.

"Y/n, how was the race?" Arthur asked, lifting me up and spinning me around.

"It was truly amazing," I said looking back at the track. Arthur put me down and Thomas grabbed Grace. We all walked back to the cars.

When we finally arrived, John parked the car and handed me the keys. We all got out and walked inside. I went upstairs and sat in Thomas's room like he had asked me to. I waited a few more minutes before leaving and I saw the door opening.

"Y/n, we need to have a serious conversation about the other boys." he said, sitting next to me. "Y/n you are holding them back, especially Arthur," he said, looking at me.

"What did you mean holding them back?" I asked, giving him a weird look.

He sighed, "John needs to marry, you are not interested in John," he said, still staring at me.

"Then let him marry someone, Thomas," I said, staring back at him. "I still have Arthur and Micahel," I said, giving him a smile.

"No Michael either, he has to marry as well." he said, giving me a glare. "Polly's orders," he said, still glaring at me.

"Then I have Arthur," I said, thinking about Arthur spinning me around in my head.

"No, Y/n you have no one," he said, with a stern voice.

"Arthur doesn't have to marry, he is his own boss," I said, snapping back at Thomas.

"I know, but he is too unstable for you to keep messing with him, he would kill anyone who said one hurtful thing to you," he said, grabbing my hand and taking my glove off. "He would even try to kill me if he knew that I did this," he said, putting my glove back on.

"Then I will marry him, I will marry Arthur," I cried out to him. "You can't make me push all of them away," I said, whimpering out to him. He grabbed my hands and placed them on his face.

"You're not marrying him Y/n, just leave John and Michael alone," he said, looking deep into my eyes. Wiping the tears coming from my eyes.

"Fine, I will leave them alone, but Arthur is my friend Thomas." I said, pulling my hands back. "Arthur knows me," I said, looking down.

Thomas sighed, "Don't you get it Y/n? I want to get to know you," he said, pulling my head up.

"No Thomas, I can't," I said, breaking eye contact. He was cruel to me, he didn't like my jokes and at the beginning he didn't look at me.

Thomas grabbed my face again and pulled me into another kiss. He was gentle this time, making sure not to squeeze my neck. It was passionate, more passionate than before. I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks.

I tried breaking free, but my body wouldn't allow it. We both heard someone coming up stairs and we broke away from each other. We just sat there staring at each other. Thomas stood up and walked over to the window.

The door opened and in came Arthur. "Oi-you've held Y/n hostage for long enough brother," Arthur said, while holding his hand out for me.

"Just business Arthur," Thomas said, in a low tone. His icy blue eyes shooting Arthur a glare.

"Are you okay Y/n?" Arthur asked, giving me a soft smile.

"Perfect, as your brother said, just business," I said, standing up reaching for Arthur's hand. We walked out of the room, leaving Thomas by himself. Arthur followed me down stairs and he guided me into his office.

"So, what were you guys chatting about?" he asked, raising an eyebrow while walking to his desk.

"Thomas told me that I have to leave John and Michael alone," I said, taking a seat across from him. "He told me they are supposed to marry and I have been in the way of that," I just looked down at my gloves and started fidgeting with my fingers. I really like both of the boys, as friends.

I couldn't help that they fell to my feet, I didn't ask them to. It just happens when you listen to their stories and actually enjoy their presence. My mother taught me that.

"He didn't say leave me alone right? I kill the bloody bastard myself." Arthur said, giving me a look in despair.

"No, he did not." I said, smiling at him. I felt safe with Arthur, maybe even felt stronger feelings with him. I wasn't sure, Thomas told me he was already messed up. I didn't understand what he meant.

"Well good then," He said, laughing and standing back up. "I have some business I have to take care of, you haven't seen Ada in ages, why don't you go back home and I will join you when I'm finished." he put his hand out to me once more and I stood up leaving his office.

Thomas's POV

I told her to leave John and Micahel alone. She looked upset that they would not be allowed to fall at her feet. She didn't even pay attention to them anymore, she just paid attention to Arthur.

Even after our kiss and then our conversation when the boys got back she went running to Arthur. He was too unstable to be able to be with her. She didn't know about his Opium problem.

He acted like a different person in front of her, but when she was not there he was killing people and drinking his life away. Maybe he needed her? Could she change him?

I don't care, I want her. She wasn't scared of me and told me what was on her mind. I could've snapped her neck and she didn't even flinch.

I wanted to be an ally with her father, but we didn't get to discuss it in more depth. She undressed in front of me, she wasn't conscious about her body. She knew she was gorgeous.

When I walked into my room she was sitting on the bed, like she was ready for me to fuck her. I wanted to rip her clothes off and fuck her until she couldn't walk.

After the conversation we had and she told me that she couldn't be with me I kissed her. I was gentle this time, making sure she could trust herself with me.

I heard someone coming upstairs and I broke away from her. I walked over to the window and looked outside. It was Arthur, he told me I was holding her hostage for too long, like she was his.

I sent him a glare, and watched Y/n grab his hand. They walked out leaving me, I was furious. Angry that Y/n just got up and left with my brother after we had another moment.

I followed them downstairs and left, slamming the door behind me. I headed to the Garrison.
