Y/n's POV

I woke up alone. I figured Arthur had to leave and take care of some business so I decided to start a bath.  As I soaked in the warm water, I couldn't help but replay the events of last night in my mind. The intensity of Thomas's gaze haunted me, leaving me with a lingering sense of unease. I got out of the bath and wrapped myself in a towel, feeling a sudden chill in the air. As I walked into the bedroom, I noticed a note on the bedside table.

It was from Thomas, explaining that he needed to meet with me to talk about this business meeting he had tomorrow. Curiosity piqued, and I wondered what could be so important about this business meeting that Thomas felt the need to discuss it with me. I couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to it than he let on in his note, and a sense of anticipation mixed with unease settled within me as I awaited our meeting.

I sat the note down and got changed. I needed to find Arthur and talk to him. I needed to know if he knew anything about this and why I needed to be involved. After I got ready, I headed downstairs and ran into Polly.

"Hey Pol, do you know where Arthur went?" I asked, hoping she could provide some answers.

"Him and some of the others went to take care of a few things. He should be back in the next hour or so."

"Hmm, ok. When he gets back, can you tell him to meet me at my place?" I said, trying to hide my growing concern.

"What's got you so worried?" she asked.

"Thomas wants to meet me later to discuss this big business meeting that he has tomorrow."

"You slept with him," she said, grinning cheek to cheek. I gave her a puzzled look, not knowing what to say. "I mean, you slept with both of them. Does Arthur know?" she asked, putting her cig out.

"No, Arthur doesn't know. I can't tell him, Pol; he would be heartbroken." I said, sitting down in the nearby chair, feeling a wave of guilt wash over me. "I have to tell him evenutally, though. It's the right thing to do."

"Do you love him?"

"I do love him Pol. I love both of them, but Thomas is cruel. He used me. He used me at my own mothers funeral. I'm just business to him."

"I see the way he looks at you Y/n. How they both look at you."

As I listened to Pol's words, my mind started racing with thoughts about the complicated situation I found myself in.  The truth was, Arthur and Thomas were both important people in my life, but their roles couldn't be more different. Arthur was gentle and kind-hearted - everything a person could ask for in a partner. But there was no denying the intense passion and chemistry that had ignited between Thomas and me.

The guilt weighed heavily on me, yet every time I saw Thomas or felt his touch against my skin, logic seemed to vanish into thin air. But maybe there was another way out of this mess - one that didn't involve hurting anyone else further. Maybe it was time for an honest conversation with Arthur  - laying all my cards on the table without holding anything back. I couldn't predict how he would react or what consequences might follow such a revelation, but staying silent wasn't an option anymore either.

If I want to be with Arthur, I have to tell him the truth.

"I have to go Pol. Can you tell Arthur to meet me?"

Polly nodded and assured me that she would pass along the message. As I left the house, my mind raced with questions about what Arthur and the others were up to and why Thomas needed me. I couldn't shake off the feeling that something big was about to happen.

Thomas POV

Watching Arthur fuck Y/n made my blood boil. If I gave her the letter Arthur wrote to her she would never forgive him. And if Arthur found out I fucked his precious angel he would never forgive her.

"Oi-Thomas don't you boys have business?"

"Yeah Pol, just signing some papers."

"What made you pull out the whiskey this early?"

"It's just going to be a long day Pol, thats it." I said as I poured myself a generous glass of whiskey.

"So it doesn't have anything to do with the two lovebirds?" Pol said with a smirk.

I chuckled and took a sip, avoiding eye contact. "Well, let's just say their actions have consequences," I replied cryptically. Pol raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued, but wisely chose not to press further.

"Why don't you just bloody tell her Thomas?"

I sighed and looked down at my glass, swirling the amber liquid around. "It's complicated, Pol," I finally said, my voice filled frustration. "There are things she doesn't know, things that could change everything." Pol nodded understandingly, her expression sympathetic. "Sometimes it's easier to keep secrets buried," I said softly.

"Well, I'll go wake Arthur up then."

As Pol walked away, I started writing a note for Y/n. I needed her to come to a meeting with me. I was meeting Billy Kimber and I knew I would throw him off by bringing Y/n with me. Kimber runs most of the tracks and the little stunt we pulled at the races wasn't gonna go unoticed.

"Couldn't give me one bloody day off eyy Thomas?" Arthur said, grabbing his jacket with the biggest grin on his face.

"We have work Arthur." I replied, my tone serious. "Kimber won't wait for us to take a day off. We need to handle this situation before it escalates further." Arthur's grin faded as he realized the gravity of the situation.

"I have to give Y/n this letter first."

"What do you need Y/n for?" he asked, his voice filled with concern. I sighed, knowing that involving Y/n would make Arthur bloody mad.

"Y/n's father has connections in the racing world," I explained. "If anyone can help us negotiate this situation and keep Kimber off our backs, it's her."

Arthur nodded, understanding the reasoning behind my decision. "Alright," he said reluctantly.
