Thomas's POV

She asked me about Arthur, was she into him? Did she actually like him? I didn't want to know the answer. She wouldn't leave and she was quite annoying.

"So you want to sleep with Arthur eh?" I finally widened my eyes looking her up and down.

"Sleep with him no, play a game with him yes." she said, winking at me, watching my eyebrows raise and my mouth open, starting to ask another question.

She cut me off by saying "I did not try to insult you earlier, if you believe that was a bloody insult then you must be soft." she said, turning off the light and shutting the door.

What in the bloody fuck did she just say to me, I was going to tell her to come in my bed while I had work to begin with. When she slammed the door I just rolled over falling back asleep.

Y/n's POV

I walked to the room next to his and opened it. I turned the light on to see Arthur sleeping. He was snoring, I'm not surprised considering the drunken state he was in before us ladies had left.

I scooted him over and took off my dress, leaving me with just my undergarments. I lifted up the blanket and before I got in the bed I turned the light off. I quickly fell asleep, surprisingly considering these sheets were not soft and the bed was mushy.

The next day I felt someone pushing at me. "Y/n...Y/n...Bloody hell wake up." Arthur whispered.

"What Arthur?" I groaned, opening my eyes. His face was right next to mine and I could feel his breath.

"Why are you in here?" he asked, pulling the covers away from himself.

"Do you not want to wake up next to me?" I asked, with a frown and a sarcastic voice.

"Oh love, you don't even know," he said, pulling the sheet away from me. "Bloody hell Y/n you're naked again" he shot a look at my body then back up at my eyes.

"Arthur, I am not naked as I was the other night." I said sitting up reaching for my dress. "To answer your question of why you had the pleasure to be next to me all night is because Ada tricked me, she told me there was a spare room and I ended up in Thomas's." I said while putting my dress on. "He did not deserve nor enjoy my presence so I asked him for your room, he didn't enjoy that question either." I said laughing.

"You're a dangerous woman," Arthur laughed. "Playing a dangerous game, with an even more dangerous man, my brother." He made the bed and held his hand out waiting for me to join him.

"I called him soft last night, he told me I insulted him and I said if he took it as an insult then he is soft," I said, taking Arthur's hand and walking out of the room.

Arthur put his hand behind my back guiding me down the stairs. I combed through my hair with my fingers as he guided me to the kitchen.

"Look who I found in my bed this morning," Arthur grinned while looking at John and Michaels jealous faces.

"Weren't you supposed to be with Thomas?" Polly gazed.

"I did enter the room, made him mad again for the second time last night and asked him where his brother was sleeping," I laughed and looked at Ada. "Nicely done you two," I bowed my head and grabbed a glass and tea.

Thomas entered the room coming from his office. He shot me a look and I smiled, he looked away then looking towards Arthur. "Y/n a moment?" he asked, the first time he had ever started a conversation.

"I'm rather enjoying myself right here, watching Michael and John squirm wondering if Arthur and I did anything last night." I said, keeping my gaze at the two men. "Boys relax, the only thing I did was try to suffocate Arthur because of his bloody snoring," I laughed while the Boys sat down and patted Arthur on the shoulder.

"I wasn't asking." Thomas said as he looked right at me with his cold icy eyes.

"What if...I don't know...um...maybe I don't care if you were or weren't asking me Thomas Shelby?" I said, sipping my tea, still not looking at him.

"Y/n just go," Ada's voice crept in, with a concerning tone. She pointed towards Thomas's office. I still didn't get up and then I heard steps coming closer to me.

Everyone was silent and I was just waiting for him to grab me. He never did, instead he pushed the chair I was sitting in into his office like I was a child.

"Strong man you are Thomas Shelby." I said giggling at the fact he actually did that in front of his family.

Was he really that impatient he couldn't wait for me to finish my drink? He slammed the door, acting as if he was waiting for a flinch or jump. I grew up with two older brothers, I wasn't scared of a little door slamming. "No time for jokes with you eh?" I asked, but he didn't respond.

"Y/n shut the bloody hell up would you?" he said, sitting down staring at me. No one told me to shut up, everyone loved when I talked. "What is your last name?" he asked, giving me a look that he would not ask again.

"Williams, my father is YD/N Williams from London. I assume you want to get a little information out of me about his business." I said folding my hands, placing them on the table. "That's all I know I suppose, I don't partake in the business, I spend the money." I said grabbing a wad of cash sitting it on the desk. "I'm my fathers pride and joy Thomas, I'm not scared of you because if anyone dare hurt me my father would kill their whole family." I said laughing once more.

"Why do you think my business is about killing?" he asked, grabbing the cash examining it. "You spend your fathers hard work money eh?" He sat it back down. "Is that what you're looking for out of a man, out of my family?" he laid back in his seat unbuttoning his coat.

"I don't need your bloody money, my father sends me anything I ask." I said, giving him a disgusted look. "You just told me your business was about killing Thomas, I never mentioned you or your business. I just simply told you if someone hurt me they would pay." I grabbed the cash and put it back in my pocket. "Your eyes tell more than you want them to, I know John and Arthur were in the war, considering you were born in between them you were too. You've all killed then and apparently still kill." raising my eyebrow and locking my eyes with his.

"Leave," he said while buttoning his coat back up.

"I was having fun Thomas Shelby," I stayed sitting down.

"I said fucking leave." He said, slamming his hands on his desk.

"You don't want to push me out there on this chair, I thought that was really fun," I said standing up winking at him. I opened the door and walked out.

I caught my breath, no one has ever yelled at me, no one hated me like he did. I didn't understand what I did wrong, he was the one who was sour about everything, no fun in that one.
