Y/n's POV
I got dressed in my mothers dress and put the veil on. I headed downstairs and I headed straight for my fathers office. I stormed in his office screaming at him.
"Why did you invite all of these people, they're outside drinking like this is a wedding." I said, slamming my hands down on the table.
"Y/n I'm Irish, did you expect no drinking at a funeral? How do you think people get through events like these?" he asked, sipping his scotch.
"You act like your wife didn't just pass away," I yelled more.
"Y/n it's been a month, I loved and still love your mother with all of my heart." he said, pouring himself another drink. He had a look of guilt and grief.
"A month I could've been mouring her death with you and YB/n," I said, scowlding at him.
"It was for your own good you weren't here," he said. "Now I have to take care of some business before your mothers service begins, I believe my knew business partner is here." He said gesturing towards the door.
"I can't do this anymore father, I can't be around people who pretend they knew her," I said, turning around opening the door. There Thomas Shelby stood, I couldn't believe it. I didn't even know what to say. My heart sunk and my jaw dropped. "Thomas, what are you doing here?" I asked, pulling myself together.
"Your father invited me, were going to become business partners," he said, taking his cap off. I could see his icy blue eyes stare into my soul. He gave me a look that he wanted to strangle me. I walked away scoffing at the fact that my father was going into business with the Shelbys, no with the Peaky Blinders.
I went outside and found my brother. "Did you know father was going into business with the Peaky Blinders?" I asked, grabbing his drink and taking a swig.
"I did Y/n, did you know you have to keep an eye on him?" he said, grabbing his drink back. "You know what father thinks about you drinking," he said.
"I don't care, I'll go find my own bloody drink." I said, walking away from him. I grabbed one of the maids attention and told her to grab me a glass and a bottle of whisky. If I had to speak I was not doing it sober.
An hour later the service finally started and everyone finally found a seat. I was the first one to walk down the aisle, my brother kept his hand on my back making sure I wouldn't try and run off. Once I sat down I smacked his hand. We listened as the pastor kept saying my mother was in a better place and she had found her peace. I didn't believe any word coming from his mouth, I was too angry to believe it. My father finally got up to speak and it felt like hours before he was done.
It was finally my turn and I walked up in front of the casket. I turned to the crowd and moved the veil out of my face.
"My mother was the most beautiful person ever to walk this cruel world. She wouldn't have wanted you all here, she wouldn't have wanted my father to keep her death a secret from her own daugther. She wouldn't have wanted you all to pretend that you knew her, you didn't deserve to be in her presence." I couldn't believe thats what I said at my mothers service, I couldn't stop the word flowing out of me. I turned around with tears in my eyes and placed the rose in my hand on her casket. I took off my veil and placed it on top of the rose, then I kissed my hand and placed in on the empty side of her casket.
I turned around and looked at my brother and father, they both put their heads down. I walked away, I wanted to go back to my room. I could feel everyones stares, I kept my head up not looking at any of them. I finally reached the back and shot a look at Thomas. He stood up and followed me, I didn't want him to see me like this.
Once I reached the house I felt his cold touch on my body. I turned around and jerked my arm away from his. "You couldn't have declined his offer?" I asked, glaring at him.
"No Y/n, I couldn't your father and I-" I cut him off before he could finish.
"I don't bloody care Thomas," I said, screaming at him moving my face closer to his. I watched him as his eyes went from my eyes to my lips and then back to my eyes. He grabbed my face and pulled me in to a kiss. I grabbed his face and kissed him back. I opened the door to my house and pulled him in with me. We kissed all the way to the steps and then he picked me up.
My legs straddled him, "third door on the left," I said, breaking our kiss for just a second. It was passionate, different from the two before. I didn't want it to end, I wanted him. He opened my door and sat me on my bed. I unzipped my dress and pulled it off of me. He crawled on top of me and I straddled him once again bringing my lips to his.
I reached for his pants undoing his belt and then unzipping his pants. He got up and took his cap and coat off. "Are you sure Y/n?" he asked, looking me up and down.
"Yes, Thomas," I said, grabbing him once more. Before Thomas I had never done anything with a man. I took off his shirt, looking at his body. He took his pants off and then his underwear. He kissed my neck working down to my breast. I moaned, I just wanted more of him. He made his way back to my face. He worked himself inside of me, I let out a big moan. I couldn't help myself, he looked at me and kissed me more.
He started moving his hips more. He started soft and slow, then he started getting faster. I rolled him over sitting on top of him. I pinned his arms down and started rocking back and forth. He rolled me over on my back and then picked me up. I straddled him again, he pushed me on my desk. He kissed my ear moaning in my ear.
He pulled away from me for a second and then leaned into me, I played with his hair while he was breathing hard into my breast. He picked me up off the desk and kissed me again.
Thomas's POV
After kissing Y/n I thought she was going to slap me. Instead she pulled me into her house. I picked her up walking up the steps. She pulled away from me and told me where her room was. I opened the door putting her on the bed. Her eyes grew big and bright, she took off her dress. I got on top of her and she was pulling my clothes off.
What was only a short amount of time felt like forever with her, I wanted it to last forever. I didn't want to let go of her. When we were done I lifted her from the desk and we both got dressed. I knew it was the worst time to do this, her father was right outside he could've came looking for her and found us. That would've ruined everything.
She walked towards me and pushed me back on the bed. She sat on my lap and kissed me, I kissed her back.
"I don't remember the last girl I fucked while looking at her face," I said, moving her hair out of her face.
"Fuck you Thomas," she said, getting up.
"I was joking Y/n," I said, I knew I struck a nerve. I mean she did deserve it considering she played Arthur and I. "You don't think you deserve that?" I asked, looking at her.
"Not completely Thomas, not on the day my mothers service," she said, looking away from me.
I walked towards her and grabbed her hands. "You made your choice Y/n, you're mine." I said, kissing her.
"No Thomas, I own you," she said, shooting me a soft smile.
