"Come on."
Soobin said, coming up behind him, placing a hand on the small of his back to get him to move.

Beomgyu did, trying his absolute best to tear his eyes away from the boy.

"It's okay. Nothing is going to happen."
Soobin whispered to him, seeing how visibly terrified the younger was.

"Who the fuck is he?"
Beomgyu asked, his voice barely above a mumble.

"The Choi family Choi. His name is Yeonjun."
Soobin said, leading him past the tables to the side of the room.

"What's his problem? Why does he keep-"

"It's hard to explain. Just don't be scared, trust me I know the feeling. But he can't hurt you, not here."
Soobin rubbed his hand on back, trying to sooth him but it didn't work.

"What the fuck do you mean not here?"
Beomgyu could feel his limbs getting weak, adrenaline racing through his body. Air suddenly was getting very hard to choke down.

"Beomgyu, grab my hand."
Soobin pulled his hand away from Beomgyu back, leaving it open at his side.

"No, what the fuck-"

"Just fucking do it."
Soobin's voice sliced through the air, like it was cutting into the chaos of Beomgyu's mind. And he grabbed his hand without a second thought.

As soon as the skin to skin contact was made...
Beomgyu couldn't explain what happened.

Because one second he was having a panic attack, and the next everything was fine, warm, comfortable.

His mind felt like it was almost floating in a still ocean. The waters warm and inviting, lapping up against him just to say hi. He felt like he was... pliant, almost.

But that wasn't the only thing.

The world seemed different to, the lights twinkling instead of them shining, the marble floor looked like water, he could almost see the ripples his footsteps made.
He couldn't bring himself to be worried about it.
Because this was nice.

The entire room, and everyone in it seemed to sparkle, like moonlight on calm sea, waves crested upon the shore.
He feel like he was sand, and he was letting the waves gently pull him out to sea.

"You okay?"
Soobin asked, his voice sounding horribly beautiful.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?"
Beomgyu asked, and looked over at his friend, just for his friend to turn away, hiding his face.

"No reason, just wanted to know what you want for lunch."
Soobin said, studying the wall like it was the most important thing in the world.

"Oh, I don't know. I'm not picky. Anything is fine."
Beomgyu replied, and turned to see the lunch line upfront.

But it wasn't really a lunch line, it was more like a buffets.
Bowls and plates and silverware all stacked neatly on one of the table, and meal after meal, all different kinds of food laid out, ready to be served.

"That's good, just no tomatoes right?"
Soobin asked, his head turning back up front.

"Tomatoes are fine too."
Beomgyu said, and even though he knew he hated them, he found himself thinking that maybe they wouldn't be so bad now.
Your taste buds change every seven years right?
