It was unusually foggy that morning, so dense he couldn't see the stop sign down the road.Beomgyu loved mornings like this, when it was cool and foggy, and it felt like a blanket had been laid around the world. Shielding, protecting things from view.
Seeing the school campus, part of it's cathedral architecture blinded by the fog. It was a different kind of 'fitting'.
The gargoyles that perched atop archways and columns looked even more looming and horrid.Beomgyu smiled up at them as he walked through the archway into the Academy.
"I won't be there for Lunch, I have some extra credit I need to do. Just tell Soobin what you want and I'm sure he'll be more then happy to get it for you."
Taehyun informed him as they walked side by side into the Math hallway.
It had become a little routine, for Taehyun or Soobin or Kai to walk with him to his classes.
The only class they would skip out on sometimes was History and his free period.Other than that Taehyun would find him in the library and walk him to his Music Theory class.
Which he was really starting to enjoy."Okay, no problem. Honestly I might skip out on lunch. I have a test today in History and I have to study before the class starts."
Beomgyu replied, and Taehyun turned to him, slowing them down by placing a hand on his shoulder."I can tell Soobin and Kai to meet you there. They won't mind skipping lunch today-"
"What?"
Beomgyu was honestly confused as to why he couldn't just go alone. Taehyun was being far too overprotective of him."Soobin can help you study-"
Taehyun started, and Beomgyu cut him off. Stepping out from under his hand."I study better alone Taehyun, you know that. Plus, I'm not going to make them skip lunch, Soobin is already built like dry wall. And Kai gets Hangery."
Beomgyu gave him a look, one that said 'don't push it'. And for a second Taehyun looked like he might have fought back.
Taehyun let out a huff, looking at him in defeat.
"Fine, but promise you'll call me if something happens."
"I promise."
And Beomgyu gave him a rare smile, one that Taehyun looked at with glee and returned.
Those Beomgyu smiles, the genuine ones, they were hard to come by now a days.

It was odd how empty the halls were during Lunch.
But then again, the school only had one Lunch period for all the students and faculty, so it made sense.
Still, Beomgyu would have expected at least a few students to be loitering around the halls. If not the teachers.
But there was no one. Not a single person in sight as he made his way to the Library.
His footsteps echoed through out the corridor, sounding far to loud amidst the silence.
