Beomgyu stood in the hall.

The polished dark of the hardwood floors reflecting the figures that stood in front of him.

From what he could tell the hall was empty, save for him and the five others.

The shadow had led him here, and he had followed it all the way back to the main hallways of the school.

But he was still on the outskirts, he knew. The corridor was skinnier, less grand, less space for students to cram into.

That must mean that this hallway was for one of the specialized classes. The classes that specifically catered to what ever type of creature one was.

That meant that this hallway wasn't for Humans, like himself.
It was one of the parts of the school Taehyun had specifically warned him to stay away from.

He had no idea what kind of things went on the rooms connected.

And looking at the five creatures in front of him, all of them staring menacingly down at him from their height...

He was sure he didn't want to know.

"Look what we've found-"

"It's him, isn't it? I can smell it on him-"

"You've wandered pretty far, now haven't you, little cattle?"

They all seemed to laugh at what the last one had said. And if he had to guess, Beomgyu would say it was a slur of some kind.

One that Lycans used for humans.
Because that's definitely what they were.
Lycans.
Werewolves.

The loose clothes, the bare feet, the stench of dog and sodden fur, mixed with something dead.

Kai and Taehyun had told him enough to be able to tell.

They had also told him other things.
Like how Lycans hated humans, believed they were nothing more then food to them.
How they were harsh and rude to others from their own world, but to humans...
They were a different kind of cruel.

The kind of cruel that plays with their food, the kind of cruel that hunts for sport, kills for fun.

Contrary to how Vampires need blood to survive, Lycans would just kill a human because it looked at them the wrong way.

And he was just that, an it.

Not a person, with feelings and emotions, with friends and family and people who care about it.

He was no more then a toy to them, one they could crush like an insect just to see how his insides looked on the outside.

"I asked you a question!"

The one in front, the one with a red shirt and baggy jeans shouted. Taking a warning step towards him.

Beomgyu jumped, his body flinching on reflex and he wished he hadn't, because he could feel their cruelty grow.
He was being the perfect prey, wasn't he?
