Kahlil
We all agreed to meet at Tamera's house before leaving. Wayne and I already dropped our bags off prior.
After practice, Tamera Wayne and I go to my house so I can take a shower.
When we get to Tamera's house Keisha, Tyrel and Meave are waiting on the porch.
"Tamera." Keisha says and tosses her some keys.
She hands them to Wayne and opens up the garage. I assumed we were taking Tamera's car...
I guess not.
Wayne brings out the SUV.
Tyrel, Meave, and Keisha, add their bags to ours.
"Alright. I think we are good to go. I'll lead the way," Keisha says, grabbing her gloves.
The rest of us get into the car... or try to I guess.
"Dude, what are you doing?" Tyrel pushes me out of the car.
"What are you talking about? I swear you were taking your car. Now move in. And toss that bag in the back."
"This has all the snacks and games. Delicate bags don't go in the back."
"Drive Tamera's car—"
"Kahli, her car won't survive the woods," Wayne puts that idea aside.
"How am I supposed to get there?"
All of them in unison say, "Ride with Keisha."
"Woah, why can't any of you ride with Keisha. I'm talking about you Tamera!" I glare at her.
"I'm a passenger princess. Deal with it," she chimes.
"You guys?" Keisha walks up to the car and lifts her visor. "What's going on?"
"Take him with you." Tyrel points at me.
"Why, this is a five seater—"
"Keisha, do you want mega mallows squished?" Tyrel asks her.
She scrunches up her face. "Never that."
"Then take him."
"He doesn't have a helmet. Or appropriate clothing."
"Stop by his house. We have time." Wayne starts up the car.
Keisha walks over to her bike. She sits on it. "Hayes, let's go."
I glare at the four in the car. "You won't get away with this," I sneer.
They all laugh.
Keisha slips me my ear-pods. "Hold the handles," she mutters, handing me her helmet.
"Keish, I've never—"
"You will find it easier if you press yourself against the backrest instead of dragging me against your chest," she says quietly before starting the bike.
Keisha
At Kahlil's place I drag Tamera out of the car. "Why?"
"Take it as my apology." She taps my shoulder. "And since when does he hold onto the handles?"
"If he touches me I swear the first thing I'm crashing into is your mom's SUV." I seethe between my teeth.
"Wayne she threatened to kill all of us!"
Wayne gets out of the car and wraps his arms around her.
"Keisha, I'm hurt you would try to hurt my precious woman."
