I understand what it means to fail
It’s not to try and not achieve
It’s not to be always behind like a tail
It’s not to always cry and grieve

I understand that those who do, gain
Though they do not get what they want, they learn
Those who have once tried can try again
Though they get no income in return

Though thought to have failed, yet they did something
Though mocked  fools because of what they did
But indeed they at least procceded, stopping at nothing
Some experience they gained from what they did

I understand that those that did, have their stories to tell
They have journeys that they have walked
They may have along the way stumbled and fell
But still their stories are told, that they walked

I understand those sometimes trip and fall
But rise they will with like the unstoppable morning sun
Their path is thorny, tulips, roses and all
By their learn from their mistakes like a mourning son

I understand that history can never be changed
What was done cannot be undone
So are the facts of those who have plunged
They have moved and what is done is done

I understand how it feels to be mocked for what has been done
But I also understand that what is done is better and far much greater
Than the thought and the hell of what could have been done
The horror of it is grave and the burden of it cannot be made lighter

I understand what it means to fail
It is to plan, to hanker for, to wish, and to desire
But not do. To end something before starting it, that is to fail
So Act! Don’t just aspire to inspire before you tire!!!
