WHILE I was eating with Yaying, we really couldn't avoid talking, but we were suddenly stopped when my cellphone rang.
"Sasagutin ko lang po" ani ko kay Yaying, tumango naman ito.
I stood up and moved a little away from the table where we were eating "hello?"
"hey it's Cyrus, are you doing something?" Tanong sa kabilang linya.
"Oh, I don't do much. Why?"
it didn't answer immediately "if it's okay with you, let's go out?" aniya
"Sige, anong oras ba?" I asked
"later, if that's okay with you?"
"Oo naman. Saan ba tayo pupunta?"
"I'll pick you up"
"Sige" then pinatay ko na at bumalik sa upuan so that I can continue my meal.
I didn't bring the clothes that Tita bought me, so I only have my clothes in my room. I wore something simple, sa top I just wore a CELINE LOOSE BLACK T-SHIRT, and sa pang ibaba I just wore HIGH WAISTED WIDE LEG JEANS.
Nang matapos na ako sa pag aayos ay bumaba na ako. I was just leaving the mansion when I met Dad "Dad" kinakabahan kong tawag sa kaniya.
"why are you here? who are you with?" Tanong nito
"Ahm, kagabi papo ako dito, but Yaying said you went somewhere. I came from meeting my friends last night, then I got tired so I think I'd just sleep here"
"why do you seem to be going somewhere?" Tanong ni Dad
"L-lily and I are going somewhere" pag sisinungaling ko, I know Daddy won't approve kapag nalaman niyang lalaki kasama ko.
Sinuri niya pa ako "okay, be careful" Dad said and kissed me on the forehead. Nang makalabas na ako ng Gate ay nakita ko si Caleb na naka pamulsang naka tingin saakin.
Inirapan ko lang siya and turned to the right to avoid him. but I was about to walk when he pulled me.
"ano ba!" I shouted at him and tried to remove the hand that was holding my arm.
he leaned me against his car and locked me in his two arms, and he brought his face closer to me.
"why did you leave last night? Alam mo ba na muntik na akong mabaliw kakahanap sayo?" he asked.
Ay! Ako din!
Hindi nalang ako umimik, ayaw ko kasing makipag away sa taong iniwan ako sa Ire at ngayon umaarteng siya pa ang nahihirapan.
"Hey, are you listening? where did you come from last night and who did you go home with?"
"Alam mo Caleb, mas better kung manahimik ka nalang at huwag nang isipin ang nangyari na. Tapos na ang lahat, look. I got home alive, so it doesn't matter to know who brought me here. It's none of your business" I said to him and rolled my eyes.
Nakita ko ang pag-igting sa kanyang panga. Maya maya pa ay umalis na siya sa pagkaharang saakin, buong akala ko makakalaya na ako but he grabbed me at pinilit na ipasok sa kulay black niyang sports car.
"Caleb I have something important to go to!" Sigaw ko dito nang makapasok na siya but he didn't listen at mabilis na pinatakbo ang sasakyan.
"if you don't tell who you were with last night. we will find out now, and don't ever regret or be angry about what I will do to you later" he said.
Hindi ko siya pinansin. Dahan dahan kong kinuha sa bulsa ko ang cellphone and looked for Cyrus' number then started typing.
To: Cyrus
I'm sorry it seems like I can't be with you today, basta wag kana mag tanong. It's my business not yours.
mabuti nalang at napindot ko na ang sent before Caleb took the cellphone from me "are you fucking kidding me? You've become more stubborn now, I really wish I hadn't agreed to let you go out last night, because now I regret it"
"give me back the phone"
Huminto siya sa gilid ng kalsada "Is this what you want?" Tanong nito saakin at itinaas ang cellphone sa harapan ko.
I tried to reach it, pero hindi ko magawa dahil sa putang seatbelt na ito. I was about to take off the seatbelt when he threw the cellphone out the window. I couldn't get out anymore because Caleb started the car quickly.
"do you really have nothing to do in life? Para pakialaman ako kung saan ako sasaya?!"
Hindi ito umimik.
"Fuck!"
He looked at me "pangit pakinggan pag babae ang nagmumura"
I just rolled my eyes.
NANG marakating na kami sa mansion nito ay hindi ito kaagad bumaba, he called someone "Sandro, check all the cctv near the restaurant where Yara and I ate last night, please call me later"
He leaned back in the car seat, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Maya maya pa ay tumingin ito saakin. Even though I wasn't looking at him, I could feel that he was looking at me.
"I want to be angry with you because you left without saying goodbye last night... Hindi mo din sinabi kung sino ang nag hatid sayo pauwi"
I don't want to say anything but I can't help myself "saan kaba nag punta kagabi?"
He didn't say any words, he just looked at me and got out of the car to open the door for me. Hindi ko nalang din siya pinilit na sagutin ang tanong ko.
Naunang naglakad saakin si Caleb, kaya nung makapasok na kami sa mansion ay laking gulat ko nang makita kong may biglang yumakap sa kaniya.
"Koibito, you came back. Do you know how much i miss you?" Ani nung babaeng nakayakap sa kaniya.
Mayamaya pa ay humiwalay na ito, she was still smiling while looking at Caleb. But when she looked at me na, it gradually disappeared.
