Sorry for the long wait. I have had a hectic week. Yr. 8 Immunisation, Science Competition, English Incursion. And a whole to more. Oh, and I won't forget the Trivia night we have at my school. Plus Musical Rehearsal. Argh! All these things in one weekend!

Alec POV
It's the next day at school and the prom is in a week. I need to find a date to the prom or I'll be stuck with Melanie for the rest of my life.

"Hey Alec" says Melanie
"Oh, hey Melanie. What's up?" I reply
"Oh nothing much. Hey, I was wondering, if you could help me with my algebra homework. I just don't get the thing where you multiply the two letters together or you divide the numbers with the letters or whatever. I just don't get." She says.
"Um, yeah sure. Do you want to come over to my place, or?" I ask and she puts two fingers and my lips.
"Sssshhh. Why don't you come over to mine? My mom makes the best chocolate brownies in the whole of Los Angeles." She says. She drops her fingers down to my chest and walks them up to my mouth. I shiver and get all weird.
"O-O-O-K-K-K." I say and giggle.
"Coolies! I'll meet you at my place?" She asks
"Uh, yeah. OK!"
"Coolies! See you soon, Albee!" She yells and walks away to Mikayla, Kylie and Poppy.
I start staring into my world of love then I see Hadley. She says something but I can't hear anything.
"Uh, hi Melanie. How's it going? Would you like to be my girlfriend?" I say. I hear a snap and come back reality.
"Alec, what was that? Why were you talking about Melanie?" asks Hadley.
"Huh? Oh, I am going to tutor Melanie for algebra this afternoon and I got a little, you know. Love-struck." I say and wave to Melanie. She waves back and turns back to her group.
"Alec, you are making a big mistake. You know what she's like. She cheats on any guy for after a week they have been dating. You don't know what your getting into, Alec." She says.
"Hadley, don't worry. I won't go down that road. Never ever. Trust me." I say pointing my hands on her shoulders for reassurance.
"OK. I trust you. Just be careful, OK?" she says, and walks away to her locker. She looks so beautiful with her auburn eyes. But Melanie is cuter. Argh! Why are there so many amazing girls in this world? I walk to my locker and get my books for the first two periods. I walk to roll class and bump into Ryan, the hottest dude in school.
"Oh, soz dude I wasn't looking where I was going. Are ya OK?" he asks
"Yeah, I'm fine. I wasn't looking either." I say.
"Ha-ha yeah. Um, have you seen Hadley anywhere?" Ryan asks
"Uh, no. I haven't seen her since this morning. Sorry." I reply
