Hadley's POVWell, prom is tomorrow. And I haven't got a dress... Now that I am going with Alec, I just need a dress. Ever since I started my sleepover at Lilly's three days ago, I've only been thinking about prom. Alec, asked me yesterday. See was so cute, and romantic, and a day I will never forget. I was in Music, playing 'Surrender' by Natalie Taylor on the piano, then I hear 'Stereo Hearts' by Maroon 5 and I turn around to see Mikayla and her friends standing at the door holding posters saying:
'Hadley, you are the best thing that's ever happened to me.'
'And I hope we will be together forever'
'And for that to happen..'
Then Mikayla gives me a bouquet of roses and I see Alec behind her, holding another poster. Now, at that point, I have tears coming out of my eyes, hand covering my nose and mouth, and I'm standing beside Mikayla, still singing off key. The poster Alec reads:
'Will you do me the honor of coming to prom with me?' The song ends, and am literally wiping tears.
"So, will you be my date to prom?" Asks Alec, and I jump on him. Give him a kiss and hug him.
"Yes!" I says and hug him so tight.
It was so memorable, I still have after shock. Lilly has after shock as well. Remember Joey? Well, he asked her yesterday too. When she was making the posters for Alec, he just came up to her, and asked her to be his date to prom. Of course, she said yes. Now, we have dates, but no dresses.
"Hads, we need dresses." Lilly says as I finish my music homework and she finished her Physics assignment.
"Well, duh. We only just got dates and prom is tomorrow. Hey, maybe we can go dress shopping. I just got my allowance, and I have enough for two whole outfits." I explain pulling out my wallet from my bag.
"Are you sure? I am pretty sure my mum can find some money around the place."
"Nope. I am paying you back for this amazing sleepover" I say, pulling her towards the front door to my car. After telling her parent and Alec we were going girl shopping (so Alec doesn't come), we go in my car, and drive off to the mall. 20 minutes later, we are in a shop filled with evening gowns and Tux's. After 45 minutes of trying on dresses, I choose purple ombre long sleeveless dress and Lilly chooses a white puffy one shoulder dress with black lace. We move onto shoes. We try so many shoes, my feet start to get sore. I get white heels and Lilly gets black heels. After getting other things for prom and lunch, we go back to Lilly's and hide our stuff in Lilly's room.
"Hey, I've got a good idea. Why don't you sleep over at my house tonight? Tomorrow we can get our nails, and hair done by Katie. She's coming with me and dad when we move back into our old house." I say.
"Cool. I'll ask my parents." She says and runs off to her parents. Then Alec comes in Lilly's room.
"Hey, cutie. What are you two talking about?" Asks Alec, sitting next to me.
"I think she is coming over to mine tonight. So we can get ready for prom. You can come if you want. But we are having a girls day. Out." I say, and kiss his cheek.
"Sure. I'd love to come. So does that mean that I have to go to school. Alone." Alec pouts.
"Yes. I'm sorry, baby, but its only for one day, then your all mine tomorrow night. I promise." I say and kiss his neck.
"Alright. I'll let my mom know" and Lilly burst in.
"OK, its time for our girls day out!! Alec, you coming?"
"Yep"
"Alright. What are we waiting for? Let's go! Wait, we are coming back for the rest of the sleepover right?"
"Yep. Let's go. I need help packing as well. Good thing you guys are helping. Thanks." I say and have a group hug.
"Its alright. Let's go!" Alec says and we head out to my car.
