Mikayla's POV
It's 11:45 pm and Nick and I had an awesome time in the "fun" room. It was amazing. Nick said he needed to get home, so we stopped and he got changed. I walk him downstairs to the front door and kissed him goodbye. I close the door and lean against the door.
"Whoa. That was really long. A new record. I'm gonna put that in my new records book now." Says a familiar voice. It's Hadley.
"What do you want now, Hadley?" I ask.
"Oh nothing. Just practicing for our "Riff off". I know I'm gonna win. I bet you." She says.
"Oh. Well, I know that we are going to win." I say, walking towards the stairs.
"Huh? What do you mean 'we'"? Hadley asks. I turn around and look at her.
"Oh. Didn't I tell you, it's a group "Riff off". Not a solo." I say. She looks shocked. Huh, she didn't get it.
"Oh, look. She didn't know. Well, you better hurry, cause it's less than a day to rehearse." I say and she runs up the stairs and I hear a slam of a door. I walk up the stairs and turn left. I walk down the hallway and into my room. I close the door and grab my pj's. I walk into my bathroom and have a quick shower. I change and hop into bed. As soon as my head hits the pillow, I fall asleep.

Hadley's POV
"You're kidding me right? She didn't tell you it was a group challenge. She's so full of s***. I say bail out, go to the prom with Joey and be done with it. Forget about Ryan, Mikayla can have him back." Says Lilly over the phone. I ran into my room when Mikayla told me it was a group "Riff off". I almost died of shock. I grabbed my phone a called Lilly. Now I'm sitting on my bed researching the history of Bach for Music on my laptop.
"Yeah, well. If I do that, she's gonna think I'm a coward. And anyway, Misty said that I would defiantly win. And then that would mean she goes to prom with Chuck Totten and then I guess Ryan would go with me anyway. I really don't like the guy. I don't know, maybe it's just the way he just always wants to talk to me, or just the fact that he is so lonely? Maybe Miss it-everyday should do one with him. If he is that lonely." I say.
"Mm. I agree. Well, what are we gonna do about this group thing? I bet Mikayla and her minions are working together, so you need three people, with an awesome voice. We should do auditions." Says Lilly
"Or, you and Alec in the group and find another person with an awesome voice." I say.
"No. Defiantly not. You know I can't sing. And Alec, I don't know if he can sing." Says Lilly.
"Ok. Not you. I was kidding. Alec. Well, lets just say, that he needs to join up with Mikayla. No offence, and don't tell I told you this, but he is horrible." I say.
"Ok. I promise. Hey, I am awesome at keeping secrets remember. Remember the time when you told me not to tell your dad that you stole $150 off Misty because you didn't get your allowance from her, and he never knew?"
"Oh yeah. I remember. I trust you. But, you and Alec are dating that's different. You would always have honesty time. Always be honest to each other."
