ROYANNE
"I think that's all for today," Lucas told me while gathering his files, "Let me go freshen up and I'll take you home."
"Sure," I replied as he went upstairs. I began packing up my books. Lucas had been helping me with one of my business-based classes.
My phone buzzed and I quickly picked it up to check the message.
Hey girl, we got the pool all to ourselves now. You really should have stayed a bit longer. That swimsuit was meant to be shown off.
My friend texted me. Her boyfriend hosted a pool party earlier today, but I didn't get to swim. Too many people, I guess.
It's okay. Don't worry about it.
I replied.I opened my bag to pack my books. The swimsuit I packed was still in there. While counter checking the folders, I couldn't find the assignment.
I searched again but had no luck. It was probably mixed up with Lucas's stuff when he just carried the stuff on his side.I immediately started off to his room. I knocked like three times with no reply before going in.
His room was many shades of white, black and gray. It was also tidy with a king-sized bed facing the glass wall.
I looked at the folders on his coffee table by the sitting area. I quickly started looking through them.
Lucas came out of his closet in a towel that around his waist.
His built sculpted chest staring at me. I blinked hard so that I couldn't concentrate or stare too long."What are you doing?" He asked.
"I was checking for my assignment. I think it was misplaced with your things," I said while opening a folder and finding it.
"See," I showed. I tried so hard not to look at his body. Instead, I looked behind him. Sliding French doors leading to an infinity pool.
"You have a pool by your room too? Do you even use it," I asked.
"Yah," he replied.
"Nope, I feel sometimes people just build a lot of pools for the sake of it," I said.
"But I do, it's more private, closer and has a great heating and cooling system," he explained.
"Can I?" I blurted.
"Sure, I'll be in there," he said while pointing at a door I presumed was the bathroom. He then left.
I quickly rushed downstairs and used the bathroom to change into my swimming suit *cough-cough Bikini*.
I went back to his room and got into the pool. The water felt warm and relaxing. I then did a few laps.
Lucas came through the French doors in shorts and a shirt. He was holding towels in his hands that he placed on a nearby lounge.
"Okay, I see why you have this pool, and the view is stunning," I told him.
"Room for one more?" he asked.I swallowed then nodded. He took off his shirt. Again. Look away. The abs, the v-line. Look away. He got into the pool; we did a few races and just swam around. Eventually the sky became darker, and we got out. He had put out two towels.
"You don't happen to have an extra towel, do you?" I asked him as I wrapped the one I had around my body. My hair needed a towel too.
"I do, this way," he said as we went back into his room.
I stood by the doorway of his bathroom as he got the towel and handed it to me.
I roughly passed it through my hair. Squeezing out all the water I can.
