I still don't know when or how am I going to propose. Sarah went to the grocery to buy some food because our fridge is empty. Can you believe it? Anyway....I Skyped the boys..Dustin, Michael and Chris and I'm asking them if they could help me with my proposal to Sarah.
"Hey, guys..what's up? Can you help me with something?"
Dustin: "Sure. Anything, bro..."
"I'm going to propose to Sarah but I don't know how to pull it off."
Chris: "Don't worry dude I know this."
Michael: "Wait...you're married? Why didn't you tell us?"
Chris: "I'm still single, okay!!! I was part of a play and I proposed to a girl in that play."
Dustin: "Oh...wait...you can act?"
Chris: "Shut up, dude."
"Ok...sounds good...so are you going to help me?"
Dustin: "Of course, dude. But when will you pull it off?"
"Not sure yet...any ideas?"
Michael: "How about in a mall...where there's a lot of people...that looks good..."
"Nope. I'm not doing that..remember that video where a guy proposed but the girl just slammed a guitar into his face?"
Michael: "That's supposed to be an ad for a product....I think it was Cadbury...was it Cadbury?"
Chris: "Why not ask her on a date...in a garden....and we'll be your waiters and maybe I will be the violinist while you converse."
"You can't play the violin, Chris. Haha. The idea is great but isn't it always like that in the movies and in the TV shows? It's cliché."
Michael: "You have a point. Hmmm...."
Dustin: "Hey...how about our batch reunion? It's happening two or three months from now.."
"That sounds great! Maybe near the gymnasium..where we first kissed. Omg! So awesome!! Thanks, Dustin! This is so incredible! Freaking out right now!"
Dustin: "Arthur...are you okay? Hahaha....well...we're glad that we helped...oh...I helped. Lol"
Chris: "Can't wait for it, man....really happy for you, Arthur."
Michael: "He's right. I remember when you're just bullied everyday at school. When you're always embarassed because you're fat and all that. But look at you, man. You're living the dream..."
Chris: "You're in UCLA. You're one step closer to your dream job at DC Comics. You have an awesome girlfriend. We didn't even except you'd go this far, dude. We had our doubts about your future."
Dustin: "We were wrong, Arthur. We're glad you're walking the path of what is best for you. The path to your dreams. Don't go to the path where it will stop you or it will poison you..be strong, live long and prosper, Arthur."
"Man....it's not the wedding yet, guys...Wow....I didn't except you'd say these things to me. Now, you're making me cry. I'm so happy I met you guys. The words that you said...wow...haha...the high school days are just amazing. One of the best times of our lives. I'm so glad I lived that moment with the three of you. We've been through a lot of times and we've gone through them. I hope you will also go to the path where you belong. Stay safe, guys. Well..i guess...it's goodnight? See you wherever....See you again, brothers!"
It was emotional. Didn't expect our Skype chat will end that way. I was teary-eyed and so were them. We're like the Four Horsemen or the Fantastic Four...but nobody's Invisible Woman.....Well...in two or three months I'm about to be engaged and get married. I'm happy to live my life with Sarah Thompson. The girl that always made me smile. I'm living the dream....
