So I ended my high school with a sad ending. I didn't get to be with Skye or Sarah. I guess I'm alone in college now. Michael is moving to Canada, Chris and Dustin aren't sure yet where to go. I'd like to go to a college in California. DC Comics is moving in Burbank and maybe after college, I can work there. I still have two months before the college season starts. I was also thinking on going to Harvard. Sarah's going there. Lol. But I need to forget her. I also need ro forget Skye. I need to focus on my studies. I finally had the courage to go to college. Yeah, it was one of my stupid fears.
I'm now focused to study and I think my college life will be fine. But I still miss my friends, my classmates back in Charlton. I wish if we ever had a reunion maybe 5,6 or 10 years from now, I hope we can all go back to Charlton.I took alot of exams and I passed in UCLA! I left Chicago to go to Los Angeles. I'm gonna miss Chicago for awhile. Still no word from Skye. Even Sarah. Chris is going to New York, Dustin stays in Chicago and Michael moved to Canada. All of us were seperated and I hope my classmates, my friends....I hope we will still remember each other in a few years.
It was the first day. Freshman year. I picked a good dorm room and the place was awesome! I unpacked all my stuff. Brought alot of comics, my favorite movies and my laptop. My roomate arrived. Jason Curry."My name's Arthur Hale. What's up dude."
"Hi! Jason Curry. Awesome superhero posters ya got there!"
"Thanks. You a fan of anything?"
"I love movies. Sci-Fi, horror and a bit of action."
"Nice. I brought some movies....maybe we can watch sometime."
"Cool. Superhero? Haha."
"Thanks, dude. Which course are you taking?"
"Film. I wanna be a director someday."
"Awesome! Nice meeting ya! See you later, Jason. Gotta go for my first class."
I went to the first class of my college life. An introduction to arts. Seeing new people in the class. It was really a whole different world for me. Maybe for every freshman. But luckily, I met Jason. My first friend here in UCLA. I still can't forget Skye or Sarah. Yeah. Skye, the girl that I think I will be with for the rest of my life. Sarah, the girl that I think is perfect for me and that we'll have a perfect relationship. But right now, I guess they'll forget about me. So again, I need to move on. It was the end of the day and I'm excited to go back to the dorm to maybe, talk more to Jason. Since he loves movies too, we can watch Back to the Future tonight.
"Hey, Jason!!!! Wanna watch Back to the Future?"
"Sure. It's still 8:30. Wanna grab some snacks? I'm gonna get some chips and some drinks."
"Sure, Jason. I'll just set it up in my laptop."
"The snacks are here! Ready for the movie! Movie marathon every night? Haha."
"That sounds wonderful, Jason! You have movies too?"
"In my laptop. Lots of movies. Over 150 I think."
"Hey, it's almost 12. Wanna sleep, dude?"
"Sure, Arthur."
"Goodnight, bro."
"Goodnight."
It's a new day and I'm really loving UCLA. I love the atmosphere and I hope this will continue. So I finished my first class today. Loitering around the university, seeking new friends, 'cause right now, I feel alone. I need someone to talk to besides Jason, my roommate. I stumbled upon someone who looks familiar to me. It's Trish. Trish McAllister. She became my classmate once and also my batchmate back in Charlton.
"So glad to see you, Trish! You look gorgeous."
"Thanks, Arthur. Didn't know you'll go to UCLA. So glad to see you too."
"Are you free? I've got nothing to do today. Finished my classes."
"Yeah! Me too! Wanna grab lunch?"
"Sure."
Trish and I ate lunch together. Talked about all the great memories of our high school life in Charlton. God, I miss my friends.
"So, any relationships, Arth?
"No. Come on, you know I like Sarah."
"Sarah? Thought you like Skye?"
"My heart realized that Sarah is the one. She's always on my mind and she inspires me to push harder in my studies. I know she may not feel the same way but I won't give up. I won't."
"Awww. Go Arthur!!"
"Hey, I gotta go. I still have a movie marathon session with my roommate. Wanna come?"
"Whatya watching?"
"Star Trek. The first movie all the way to Into Darkness."
"BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH!!!! I'll go!!"
