So we watched a couple of Star Trek movies and we ended at around 5am. There was no school today since it's the weekend. Woke up at around 9 and saw Jason and Trish together in Jason's bed. Like what?
"I must be leaving now. Thanks for the awesome movie marathon. See ya in the cafeteria...or whatever. Bye!"
"Yeah! No problem, Trish."
"She's one heck of a girl, bro."
"What?"
"Never mind, dude. I think I'm in love."
"Good for you, Jason. Trish is a sweet person.....so don't mess around while you're with her."
"Thanks for the advice....dude..."
So I had nothing to do today. Feeling free and not loaded. I decided to go to this Art Festival just near UCLA. The artworks are displayed in a garden with a giant tent. Really looks cool. Wanna check it out. It's been going on for weeks now and I wanna see some awesome art!! So it's also near The Burger Shack, my favorite fast food restaurant. Double bonus! So I went inside and saw the artworks. There were only few people and the atmosphere is quiet. I've been staring at this artwork. The drawing style looks familiar and it's like I know the artist.
"Excuse me..may I help you?"
"The artwork looks beautiful. Who drew this?" I turned my back and.....
"I drew this...."
"Sarah? I knew it."
"Arthur! Oh my gosh....I didn't realize it was you..."
"I didn't know you're in California."
"So great to see you. The art school where I study had this Art Festival tour where we go around the west coast to showcase these artworks."
"Great to see you too. We haven't talked ever since..."
"Yeah. Ever since graduation. I miss you so much."
"Didn't expect a hug. Oh well."
"You just made me happy, you know that?"
"You also made me blush. Damn."
"Haha. Wanna go out and grab lunch?"
"The Burger Shack? Sure."
We ate lunch at The Burger Shack. Really didn't expect to see Sarah here. I think it's destiny that brought us here. She still looks cute and beautiful when she smiles. Those cute dimples.
"So, you went to UCLA."
"Yeah. I did. Pursuing my comic writer career."
"I'm happy for you, Arthur."
"So am I...to you....spearheading your career in drawing and painting. Two thumbs up, Sarah!"
"Thanks."
"Hey, do you have any plans today? Cause I don't have."
"Hmm. Let me think....I think I can ask my teacher if I can."
"Yes! Wanna watch a movie?"
"Good 'ol Arthur asking a girl to watch a movie. How can I deny that? You're my teddy bear."
"What?"
"Nothing.."
"Well, I guess I'm picking you up at the garden. I still need to change first."
"No problem."
Took her to the nearest movie house and we watched a horror movie. Yes, horror. I loved it and she hated it but she had no choice. I treated her out. She still looks cute though as she tries to not watch and grab my shoulder. Loving the moment. Yes, I still love her and I think it won't change. We left the theater and Sarah needed to go now. She will now go to Texas for the Art Festival tour. Really sad that she will go."
"I guess this is another goodbye, Arthur."
"Stay safe, Sarah."
"You got Messenger? We can still stay connected."
"Yeah, I have one."
"Love you!"
Did she just say I LOVE YOU? What? Wow. That escalated quickly. Are we in mutual understanding. Don't know what's happening right now!!!
