It's almost Christmas and there will be this new competition where we have to compose an original Christmas song. It can be solo, group or duet. I'm not really good at composing songs but I compose. It's just that I need help in polishing a song. Why not I'll ask Skye if we can join forces.
"Hey, Skye. Umm...do you want to compose a song with me?"
"Oh, you're also joining the contest?"
"Yeah and I'm thinking if we can be together........I mean as a duet."
"Oh, right. I already planned to compose a song alongside Dylan. I'm terribly sorry."
"Oh, haha that's fine."
Man.....Really?
"Hey, guys. You wanna compose a song with me?"
"Oh, for the competition? I thought you will ask Skye for that?"
"She had plans with Dylan. (Sighs)"
"Ohhhhhhh!!!!!!! Hahahaha"
"Shut up, Chris."
"Ok.. I can play the guitar if you want to."
"Piano guy, here!"
"Really, Dustin? Piano??"
"Yeah. I know how ya know. Sheeesh."
"I can be the beatbox guy."
"Sure, Michael. Okay and I'll be the vocals. LET'S DO THIS, GUYS!!!!
I'm now determined to beat Skye and Dylan or SkyLan, what? SkyLan? Where did that come from. Anyway, me and the guys will beat them. It took us about a week to fully compose our song.
Fast forward to the contest, we were the last ones to perform and you know what they say, save the best for last. Skye and Dylan performed before us and it's about our damn time to own the fricking stage. Everyone in the auditorium were peacefully waiting for me to sing. We actually did good. The guitar, piano, beatbox and don't forget the singer. Lol. We finished first!!!! Yeah! Finally something that I can be proud of. I finally achieved greatness!
"Congrats, Arthur!"
"Thanks, Skye."
"I didn't really know you could sing. You sang beautifully."
"Thanks, Skye! I dedicated the song for you."
"What???!!!!"
"I mean for all of you guys, for the batch." I nearly blew it..........
