The eleventh grade year was over. I finished 5th overall in the rankings. Sarah finished 1st and Skye finished 4th. Since it is the summer season, I want Sarah to have a vacation with me. It's her birthday this Tuesday (July 8) and I want to give her a dress. I invited Skye to help me in picking a dress. It was on a Saturday afternoon and Skye and I went shopping. Lol. For Sarah and some clothes for Skye too.

So we went to FOREVER 21 to get her something. I saved up alot of money for the dress for Sarah and I hope she'll like it. After that Skye and I are still thinking what to do.

"Hey, Skye! It's still early and we can still do something."

"You wanna watch a movie?"

"You read my mind. Haha. It's our second time, right? Together?"

"Oh yeah. Haha."

"Does Dylan invite you to watch a movie?"

"No, actually. He says movies suck."

"Really???!! Wow....."

"So...any good movie to watch?"

"There's a new Drift to Kill movie."

"Oh, a sequel to the first one? The movie where there are fast cars, drifting and stuff, right?"

"Yeah...oh look..there's a slot for about ten minutes from now. I'll buy the tickets, you can buy some food."

"Sure, Arthur!"

We watched another movie together!!!! Plus points for Skye! Haha. It was a fun afternoon. I just wish Sarah was also here. We went home after the movie and I wrapped the dress for Sarah's birthday. So I'm really excited to give it to her. I wanted to tell it to the guys but Chris is in Los Angeles, Michael is working at 7-11 as his summer job and Dustin is working at Burger King. So for short, they're all BUSY.

So I went to Sarah's house and surprised her. I had the dress wrapped and in my hand.

"Arthur?"

"Hi, Sarah. Happy birthday!!!! Are your parents home?"

"No. They went to buy some food. Awww thanks a lot. Come in, come in. So what brings you to my lovely home?"

"I came here to tell you something. Can we talk maybe....in your room?"

"Wew. Okay."

"So I came here to give you your birthday gift."

"Wow. You didn't really have to give me."

"But first I wanna tell you something. I hung out with you, I became friends with you and I became really close to you. There's a reason for all of that. It's that I love you, Sarah. I don't know but ever since you became my classmate and moved. You're so beautiful. You're cute, smart and funny. You like the things I like and you accept me. Not all girls accept me the way you do. They think I'm a loser, I suck, I'm lazy and all that. I have feelings for you. I wanna be more than friends, you and me."

"(Breathes) Oh, Arthur. I know about what happened when we kissed. At the prom and even at your house. To be honest, my parents don't like you. They think you're not the one for me. I think that your handsome and when you're with a girl you like, you make them comfortable. You're a good person, Arthur. Thanks for the things you gave me. The time we spent was special. I can't undertand what my heart is saying. I also like you. Before. It was just fast. I'm really sorry but I just wanna be friends. I love you. As a friend."

It was one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life. I felt like it was the end of the world. Man. I just want Sarah and I to be together. It's almost the end of our high school life and maybe Skye, Sarah... I won't ever see them again after this. Yeah. Imma type of guy who wants to be with somebody. A girl. The only thing that's missing in my life.

"Well, I understand, Sarah. Can I get a friendly kiss?"

"Sure."

"You can open your now. It's a dress...from Forever 21." I left her house filled with tears and a heartbreak.

"Oh my god. It's so beautiful. Arthur must've spent his money for this."

It was a sad day. I went back to my house and cried. I cried. Lying on the bed and cried like a baby. I ate ice cream and my mom noticed me.

"Hi, son. Anything wrong?"

"Sarah. Her parents don't like me. She also friendzoned me."

"Do you love her?"

"I do, mom. I do."

"You'll be fine, Arthur. You'll experience this a lot of times. That's life."

"Thanks, mom."
