(I forgot this story existed if I'm being completely honest. Also I'm changing the scenario a bit, my apologies!)
They kissed in the alleyway. Casey and April, I mean. Or more that April grabbed Casey's hood and pulled him in for a kiss. He seemed shocked for a moment, his arms just slightly raised in the air. He froze. And so did Donatello, watching now from the rooftop beside them. Did Jones like it or not? By the genius of Charles Darwin, why was Casey so confusing? He was gay and yet..
Donnie's pen tapped slightly faster on the desk as he crumpled up his paper. Raph watched from his usual place in his lab's doorway, mimicking him constantly.
"Somethings troubling the scientist." The red one said with a chuckle before hopping on the desk.
"No shit."
"Whats bothering you?"Donnie glared at him then out at the hallway, glaring violently at the couch in the living room before standing up and closing the garage door.
"The love birds on it?" Raph let out a snort. "Had to expect it someday."
"It's irritating, still."
"Can't expect love to go the way you want." Raphael responded, unwrapping the pile of balled up papers on the desk.
"Wow, REEALLY? Wouldn't have guessed!" Donnie flapped his hands in the air and walking over to his board, readjusting some of the pins and strings.Raph sighed and hopped off the desk, examining all of Donnie's small doodles on the papers he held.
"What's wrong now?" Donnie hissed, turning his head with a glare.
"You made doodles again."
"I did?" Donnie's aggravated expression quickly changed into utter confusion.
Usually when he was frustrated on a topic having to do with April, he'd focus in on his work. But whenever it led him to a dead end, he's space out and start doodling small drawings of her and then not recall doing it afterwards.
"Men.."
"I drew men??" Donnie blinked for a moment, confused.
"Lots of them.."
".."
"Are you tryna tell us somethn Dee?"
"NO!!" Donnie's quickly ran over to his desk and threw out any crumbled papers he saw, yanking the ones also in Raph's hands.
"Alrriiight, we won't judge you, y'know."
"I'm not gay!"
"You don't have to be gay. There are other options too, y'know. You could be bisexual, since, of course you like April."
".."
"I'll talk to you later, cya Dontron." Raph smiled, giving Donnie a pat on the back before opening the garage door and exiting the lab."Bisexual..?" Donnie sat down at his desk, hesitantly pulling out his laptop and opening a new tab. He started pressing the keys, and kept asking it more and more questions before pulling up an online quiz.
He hesitated before answering the last question, but quickly slammed his laptop shut as soon as he heard a noise from behind him.
"You think you're bi?" Casey asked, smiling as his head hovered over Donnie's shoulder.
"No, Raph does."
"Then why'd you slam the laptop shut like that?"
"..Because he might be right."
"Thrilling!"
"So uhm.. to clarify, are you and April like.." he looked over into the hallway at the girl on the couch.
"No, no.. I'm still.. into men.. but.. actually.. it's kind of.. frustrating, really. Really fucking frustrating. Confusing..?"
"Close the door." Don said, immediately understanding he was in for a therapy session now. Only this time, he was the therapist. And Casey, actually did as Donnie instructed.
"I know while 100% certainty I'm into.. men."
"Men." Donnie nodded, and they both sat next to each other on Dee's desk.
"Men."
"Continue,"
"Will continue. Uhm.. with April I didn't give her an answer.. not that she actually.. y'know, asked a question.. we're not together or anything, if that's what you were thinking."
"What?? She's told all of us she's dating you now. It was a whole announcement.."
"Excuse me..?"
"Damn" Mike's voice said, as he came out from under a table. Donnie jumped, startled, and Casey laughed at it.
"Shut it, Jones!" Donnie snapped, glaring at him.
"Tell her you're not interested, bro." Michelangelo suggested, leaning on that last said table.
"But I don't really.. know how to word it. I get nervous.. you don't really know a persons next move." Casey responded.
"Unless you're reading a book, a story." Donatello nudged in, smiling.
"But she isn't a book, Don. She's.. more complicated than one."
"Psh, humans." Mikey said, rolling his eyes dramatically as he crossed his arms. "The most stupid creatures on the planet."
"No Mikey, that's you." Casey responded, and Donnie laughed in response.
"Actually I might have to agree with Mikey here, sure humans are technologically advanced and all, but those aren't the majority of humans. Those are the rare few scientists on the planet. And plus, look at you, Casey. Case has got himself a whole Case of terrors so idiotic not even a calculator would know the answer to." Donatello stood up, taking some of his papers from before and neatly putting them in a drawer.
"Rude?"(Man this entire chapter feels pointless but I started it a week ago and have no clue what I was tryna lead up to, I can't even reread it without getting confused. Sorry bout that, this is all y'all getting for now. I'm a bit stressed offline with personal matters still, so most likely will only be on every now and then to check notifications. Feel free to suggest things!)
