A lingering breath passes through Kurapika's lips as his heart threatens to beat out of his chest. He swallows his nervousness and clears his throat in preparation.

"Words could never accurately describe how much you mean to me. You've given me so many things I never knew I needed, moreover, I now realize I cannot live without them. I can't even begin to thank you for coming into my life and allowing me to be so happy."

"I think that sounds really good so far," Leorio stands in front of Kurapika as Kurapika practices reciting his vows. Leorio dons a navy blue tuxedo while the groom wears a black suit with a red tie, "Wait, how many pages is that?"

"My love for (Y/N) is neverending," Kurapika answers simply, dodging the question. Leorio raises an eyebrow at him, prompting the Kurta to properly respond, "It's 12 pages right now. Is that too long?"

Leorio doesn't even try to hide his visible jaw drop and look of shock as he loudly questions his closest friend, "12 pages?? Do you want all the guests to fall asleep before the end of the ceremony"

Bennett, clad in a black suit with a green tie, is sitting in a nearby chair quietly watching their exchange before speaking up, "I think it's really cute! Nobody is going to fall asleep... I think."

"Thank you, Bennett," Kurapika offers him a small smile, "I'm glad that you understand at the very least."

Leorio reaches out to straighten Kurapika's tie, much to the blonde-haired man's chagrin, "Don't give me that look. Your tie was crooked. I wouldn't be much of a best man if I let you meet (Y/N) like that later."

Kurapika sighs and rolls his eyes, "Very well. I suppose I cannot argue with you."

Bennett quickly stands up, gulping as he looks down at his incredibly disheveled tie, "Leorio, can you fix mine next? I didn't know how to tie it and I don't want to ruin the wedding."

Leorio lets out a chuckle as he flashes Bennett a beaming grin, "Don't worry! I've got your back!"

The door abruptly swings open, the energy of the room changing significantly when Gon, Killua, and Alluka race through the doorway, nearly knocking each other over.

"Oi!" Leorio shouts at them, "Why are you guys in such a hurry?"

"We thought we were gonna be late," Gon confesses as he approaches Leorio and Kurapika, "Killua was really worried we would miss the whole thing."

Killua replies to this by shoving his hands into his pockets and looking away with a flustered expression plastered onto his face, "Was not."

Alluka giggles playfully, "Yes, he was. He was really excited for today!"

Leorio looks down at Alluka, kneeling down to her level with a caring smile, "That dress is really pretty. Did you pick that out all by yourself?"

"Yeah!" She exclaims with a wide smile, "Brother paid for it. Do you think (Y/N) will like it?"

"She'll love it!" Bennett chimes in, "She'll be really happy to see you again."

Kurapika nods knowingly in agreement, "You three look great. I'm relieved to see that you arrived on time."

"No thanks to Gon," Killua quips before elbowing Gon in the stomach, prompting Gon to stick his tongue out at him playfully, "Kurapika, did you get the chocolate cake like (Y/N) wanted."

The groom crosses his arms, "Perhaps you mean as you wanted? And to answer your question, no we did not." Killua begins to pout, earning a laugh from Kurapika, "However, she did talk me into getting a chocolate fountain for the afterparty."
