"(Y/N) said to wait outside her apartment, right?" Lynn asks Zoe with her arms crossed, an annoyed scowl plastered to her face.
Zoe nods to this, watching your apartment door, expectantly, "Yeah, I'm sure she'll be out any second now." She looks around, curiously, "Weren't Bennett and Leorio supposed to meet us here, too?"
"Hmm?" Lynn hums in thought. She looks up and down the hallway, as well, "Yeah, you're right. Are we early?"
Zoe only shrugs to this, "I thought she said to meet her at noon.." She takes her phone out of her pocket, glancing at the time, "Wait, maybe she said half past noon.." Zoe seems to be deep in thought, completely oblivious to Lynn's obvious frustration with her.
"I wish you actually listened once in awhile," She retorts, tapping her foot impatiently.
Zoe looks up at her with innocent blue eyes, prompting Lynn's anger to dissipate slightly, "I'm sorry, Lynn. I really thought she said noon."
Lynn doesn't reply for several seconds, but Zoe doesn't let up with her puppy-dog eyes, so Lynn finally releases a defeated sigh, "It's fine, Zoe. No big deal. It's already almost twelve-thirty anyway."
They stand in the hallway, just outside of your door, chatting, and occasionally checking their cellphones. After about ten more minutes of this, the neighboring apartment door opens, revealing your curly-haired brother. He closes his door behind him, approaching Lynn and Zoe with a smile and a wave.
"Wow, you guys are early, huh?" He takes a quick glance at his watch, "It's always good to be early!" He offers them a large grin, easily infecting Zoe with his cheerful attitude.
"Exactly! See, Lynn! You got upset for no reason!" She teases her sister, poking her tongue out at her.
Lynn lets out an annoyed huff, turning away from them both, "Can't you two be happy elsewhere?"
"Are we ruining your angsty vibe?" Zoe continues to taunt her, much to Lynn's chagrin.
"Just don't say anything.. Don't let her get to you.." Lynn mutters to herself, trying her hardest not to lose her temper.
Footsteps can be heard drawing closer to them, causing each of them to turn towards the direction of the sound. Leorio greets them with a big wave as he turns the corner and spots them. He makes his way towards them, one hand carrying his briefcase, and one hand shoved in his front pocket.
"You guys were early, too, huh?" Leorio wonders, glancing towards your door, and then back at them.
Lynn finally reaches her boiling point, shouting, "Yes, we were all early!! Can we stop talking about it already?!"
After she has shouted this, your apartment door swings open. You watch the group stand around in awkward silence, afraid to upset Lynn even more. "Hey, everybody. Glad you could all make it. Sorry that I took so long to get ready. I accidentally overslept."
"Not important," Lynn remarks, reaching out to grab your arm, "We should get going, or you're gonna be late. Besides, this group is already driving me crazy."
Leorio gives Bennett and Zoe questioning looks, causing Bennett to shrug casually, while Zoe lets out a small giggle. "Lynn's right, (Y/N)!" Leorio exclaims, "Let's get going. I'll drive!"
Leorio begins walking down the hall, Zoe and Bennett trailing after him. Lynn practically drags you down the hallway after them, muttering complaints the whole way. You are all barely able to squeeze into Leorio's car, but thankfully the bridal shop isn't very far away. Leorio and Bennett talk happily in the front seats, while you are squished between Zoe and Lynn.
