I woke up the next morning on the floor. I must have sat looking out the window until I fell asleep last night. Wow. Good job self.
I sat up and stretched. My whole body ached. I didn't know what to do for the day. I thought about doing some more lessons with Leia. I stood up and put on a normal looking outfit.
I went downstairs and ate breakfast. It was really early, so there were only a few others there. I made some toast and ate by myself in silence. I didn't feel like talking to anybody.
Just as I stood up to dispose of my trash, Senator Organa came running over to talk to me.
"Ahsoka, I'm so sorry about Lux," he started.
"Thanks. It's taken me some time to process my emotions and sort it all out. How have you been?"
"I've been better. Ever since Onderon joined the Republic, Lux has been like a son to me." He took a breath, seeming eager to change the subject. "Anyways, the alliance is holding a service in his honor tomorrow evening. We wanted to wait for you to get back. You are welcome to attend, if you are feeling up to it."
"I'll be there," I replied.
The Senator nodded, and turned and walked away. A sudden realization dawned. If I'm going to a formal thing, I'm going to need a dress of some sort. I felt a tingly sensation rush through my body as I shivered. I hate dresses. I have only worn them a couple of times, and only because it was mandatory.
Since I had gotten rid of all of my dresses, it looks like I'm going dress shopping today. Yay.
