"Ahsoka, you can't come with me. As your doctor, I am telling you that you need go stay until you get better."

"But Alema, I'm fine. I promise I won't use my power."

"No."

"You realize I'm going to come anyway, whether you let me or not."

"I will lock you in this room."

"Like that's going to do any good."

"You came out of a coma a few hours ago. Your nutrient level is still too low."

"I'm going, whether you give me permission or not."

After an intense staring contest, Alema finally gave in. "Fine," she said. "But you cannot fly and we are always to be in the same room so I can keep an eye on you in case anything happens. Got it?"

"Yes."

"Good. There's a ship waiting in hangar C. I have to grab my kit, so I'll meet you there."

"Alright. Thanks!"

Once she left, I put on some shoes and my necklace. I didn't bother changing clothes, so I just put my belt on with my lightsabers and the other supplies I needed.

For no real reason, I took a look at myself in the mirror before walking out. I gasped. Most of the color had drained from my face, and some of the muscle mass in my arms and upper body was gone.

"I really need to eat better," I said to myself.

I scanned to room to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything, and went back for my cloak. I don't know why I needed it, but I felt bare without it.

Alema was waiting for me at the ship. "Let's go!" She said.

"I know, I know. Sorry!"

We ended up making it just in time. X-Wings were being sent off. As I walked through the hangar, I stopped next to a particular fighter. The pilot was strong with the force. I looked up at the cockpit and saw Luke sitting there.

I guess someone finally got involved, I thought to myself. Before I turned to keep walking, the blue paint on the droid caught my eye.

"R2!" I gasped. I was met with a sequence of beeps.

"Yeah, it's good to see you too, buddy. We can catch up later. Protect Luke for me, will ya?" He continued beeping as I walked away.

Alema and I arrived in the main control room shortly after the battle had officially begun. Princess Leia and a couple other officers were hunched over the holotable in the center of the room. Luckily for us, she had briefed us on the strategy while Alema and I were en route.

I sat down at one of the control desks and began my work. Leia had put me in charge of the one-man fighters, so I put on a headset to communicate with all of the squadron leaders.

"Squadron leaders, this is Fulcrum. You need to regroup."

"Copy that, Fulcrum."

The battle continued on like this for 30 intense minutes. Luke was about to take the shot. The force was with him. Tracking the torpedoes on the screen in front of me, I watched as a textbook chain reaction was about to be set off.

"Alright boys, now get as far away as you can! Red 5 got 'em in!"

"Aknowledged, Fulcrum. We're coming home."

As the battle station exploded, cheers erupted from the control room. I stood up, took my headset off, and scanned the room for Alema. She was attempting to make her way over to me through the sea of chaotic people.

I dodged the arms swinging all over the place and pulled her out into the hall. She pulled something put of her belt and scribbled something on a notepad.

"Eat this. It's got everything you need in it to tie you over until dinner. Don't eat anything until I tell you otherwise, got it?"

"Yeah, thanks."

"Now, let's go congradulate that pilot!"

We both smiled and ran towards the hangar. People were coming from everywhere to celebrate with the heroes of the day. Pilots were met with cheers and hugs as they climbed down from their ships.

I, however, did not join them. I was happy, but this was their victory. They deserve their moment of fame. There was also the possibility that Vader had been on that thing when it blew, but my senses told me otherwise. It's far from over.

Luke, Han, and Leia walked past me as I was watching. When she saw me, Leia smiled. I nodded, and they kept walking. Those three are going to change the galaxy, I thought. If only Anakin where here to see his kids. He would be very proud.

After the ceremony the following day, Alema and I stayed to help chose a system for the next rebel base. After hours of relentless searching, Alema had suggested Hoth. It was actually not a bad idea.

The only problem for me was the cold. My species in general is not a fan of cold weather, so I would not go help out there. Given my current health and situation, Alema and I decided to go back to the temple to use that medical facility. Another doctor was called in to the medical station, so Alema was free to spend all her time and energy healing me and resting herself. While we are there, we both have time to study and practice.

Before leaving, I had a brief conversation with Leia.

"Ahsoka! How've you been, lately? I'm sorry I haven't kept in touch, I-"

"No, no it's perfectly ok. We are all very busy sometimes. I came to talk to you privately about the future of the rebellion."

"What about it?"

"You have a chance, Leia. These people have the potential to change things, especially Luke. Don't let him wander too far. You have more in common with him than you may ever realize."

"Alright. He's a great pilot; the rebellion can't afford to lose him."

"Indeed. As for you, keep your head held high. Be proud of this organization. Trust yourself and your friends, but give them reason to trust your leadership."

"I will. It has been good to see you again."

"You, too. We'll see each other again soon. Until then, may the force be with you."
