I got a call later that day from Hera. She reported that they were unable to locate Kanan, and all their previous rescue attempts have failed.

She asked me for my opinion on whether or not they should divert their attention to this, or continue with the rebellion. I nearly brought her to tears telling her that it just isn't worth risking capture again for someone who willingly sacrificed his safety. Even though I ordered her to not rescue Kanan, I knew they would anyways.

Since I figured Kanan was going to be taken to Mustafar, I suited up in my newest combat outfit from last year. I put my lightsabers on my belt, and revieved my fighter piloting techniques. I haven't flown in battle for a while, so I studied it for a while.

Chopper called as I was leaving my room. He told me to bring the rest of the fleet. I quickly discussed it with Senator Organa afterwards, and proceeded to fly to Mustafar. There is no possible way Hera and the others can defeat the entire fleet alone.

Once I reached the system, I decided to fly the Ghost. I mean, why not? Plus, it's probably time the others learned that they are not alone in their struggle against the Empire.

I wish I could remember details from the battle, but it was really just a bug blur. It was almost habit for me to fly through the same attack course as the ones Anakin and I led during the Clone Wars.

After everything was all said and done, and Kanan was safely aboard the Ghost, I deactivated the engines. I could hear the others boarding and realizing that Chopper had not been flying the ship. Chopper played them a transmission from Senator Organa as Hera explained the protocol of not knowing about the other cells.

"The protocol has changed," I interjected while climbing down the ladder from the cockpit. I continued to explain the changes I set in place while examining Chopper for any damage. It was kind of funny; Chopper reminded me of R2.

After revealing myself, I decided to hitch along for a couple missions. I discovered many old friends, including a certain commander from the clone wars.

I had broken off from the Ghost crew after a while and crashed on a planet after seeing a AT-TE walker functioning as a mobile home. I was so surprised that I forgot to drive. Not my best move.

When I got out of the wreckage, a figure with armor and a neat white beard stood before me. We both looked at each other, and gasped.

"Rex?"

"Commander Tano?"
